Thank you so much Kathleen! 🤗 This was such a fun project, I wanted to keep going. I have so many more photos I wanted to include. Time to learn how to make my own frames. Maybe I'll do something similar in the nursery, but with children and babies. 🥰✨

Thank you Elizabeth M 🤗 There are many ways to do this type of wall but I was very inspired by how Little Gretchen and Jolene at Tiny Key Hole Minis use their real family photos. Time for me to learn how to make my own frames. 🥰✨

Oh I like this idea. I think my sister would love this, as she has doll stuff for the grandkids. Makes me want to create a doll house for myself, and I only have grandsons! LOL But, hey, I would play with it.

Oh my thank you so much JP! 🤗 I really felt compelled to do the picture rail hooks because I know well in my own house the necessity of having to use them. They are such a pain, in mini and real life. LOL. 😂 This was a fun project. I need to learn now how to build my own frames. 🥰✨

Oh dot! You did such a fabulous job on your Victorian picture wall!! ALL the frames look lovely!! I especially like the rectangle, one that you painted rust color, and then a little green and some gold rub n buff! it’s beautiful! To tell you the truth, I have a little bit of difficulty with that green color. I always get too much or too little! Yours is absolutely perfect! I think I fiddle with it too much, instead of just “doing it” like you! It’s so beautiful, and I actually teared up when you were showing all your pictures! You did a wonderful job… As usual!

I was expecting to sit down for a long painting session but it went so quickly I was a little sad. Thank you for your encouragement, it means a lot and helps me move forward! 😘✨ (I have 2 more pinecones and have a plan for them!)❤️

Dot, look at you Go!!! I love this wall so much. It looks so authentic. The frames with the green 😍👌 I had no idea those modern decor pictures hanging on ribbons came from so long ago. Hi Jolene! Aw thanks so much for all your inspiration 🥰 It was fun doing this project. I need a zillion more frames now.😂 Next step- try to make my own. Ahh, my Auntie Angie, she was my person! None of my grandparents were around anymore when I was growing up so she was like my Nana. Her and my Auntie Rose never married and lived together their whole lives in the house where some of those photos were taken. Great memories! They would have been friends and neighbors with Ms. Margo for sure! 🥰✨

Mary! 🤗 You're the baby! Lol 😂I love love love big families because of my great aunts and uncles! My Auntie Rose was the youngest of that crew and she was the feistiest of them all! They were all very close which was beautiful. I wanted to have a huge family like that but I only made it to 4 and was wiped out. Thanks for sharing about your family. 🥰✨

This was ADORABLE! You did a great job on all the pictures! I really like that you actually took pictures of some of the DOLLS!! THAT Was PRECIOUS!!! Yes I totally get it about the SOLID WALLS! NO Dry wall in OLD houses. We call them "Wet plaster Walls" you definitely can't put hooks in "Wet Plaster"walls, the nails fold up! Lololololol!! I love that you said "just experiment! that is KEY, i totally believe in that and the multiple layers are great, it adds so much dimension! Your Portrait Wall is BEAUTIFUL!!

Hi Gretchen! 🤗 Aw thanks so much! If you only knew how much it is your voice in my head when I'm working-" Have fun..experiment, if you don't like it you can start over"! I'm glad I have lots more wall space for artwork and photos. Wet plaster walls, I never heard that but exactly! Charming? Yes but a pain in the buttress if you know what I mean! Lol 🤣 I hope Spring is coming soon to the Wolverine state and that you had a very happy Easter 🐑🐣🌺😇😍✨

Just an eiderdown/ quilt for a UK 1930s/40s double bed, one twelfth size. But now you've got me thinking about corsets in that colour 🤔😁

Hi Diane🤗 I had a great time creating this wall and remembering some of my relatives who have since passed. You are right, photos are in life clearer than I was able to film them. 😆 Lots more wall space in the rooms for other art and more photos. My grandmother kept a large picture frame over her kitchen table that she added photos to, much like a collage of photos. It was a jumble of family photos, wish that I had them now.

I always loved photo collages like that. I tried years ago to create something like your Grandmother had for my parents. They kept it up for awhile but took it down. My mom goes in more for the symmetry than the jumble I guess. Not me. LOL 😂😍✨

Hi Donna🤗 The frames were sent by my friend, miniaturist Becky Christian. She has an eBay shop called The Happy Little Home www.ebay/str/thehappylittlehome. She mainly sells completed miniatures but you could ask her if she would sell just the frames. 😍✨

I have picture rails in my craftsman farmhouse and would love to know where you got your picture rail hooks from for your actual house?

Hi Sally🤗 Ah, a craftsman farmhouse- sounds gorgeous. My home is a small craftsman Bungalow built c 1905/1910. I just bought my picture rail hooks on Amazon. It's an easy search. You can even find vintage/antique ones on Etsy or EBay. I also bought a hanging kit. It uses plastic wires with hooks that slide up and down on it. It's easy to add multiples this way. I love that I have picture rails but I don't love the actual use of them. Authentic yes, aesthetically pleasing, not really. 🤣 Thanks for stopping by. 😍✨
