caduceus was the real MVP here, he made the alliance with the giants, saved Fjord from a auto death and the holy weapon spare them lots of rounds to do that amount of damage which would allow lots of those necrotic hits and weakening gazes

I love how Matt always manages to give adversaries depth. Dumb, mean giants are really just displaced people who have lost loved ones and just want to go home. Some bugbears are just sad, lonely souls being tormented by sexy demons. He's so good at giving his players an opportunity to destroy shit AND to be compassionate.

Absolutely love that their main mission was to get rid of the giants and, if there was time, embarrass the foreman. Instead, they personally made it their goal to embarrass the hell out of this poor man and went "oh yeah I guess we help some giants while we're here". True DnD priorities right there.

Can I just say there are a lot of good relationships in this show: both friendships and romances, both fictional and real. Without question, one of my favorites (if not my number one favorite) has got to be Travis and Ashley. They were fantastic being buddies as Grog and Pike and I love the constant support and encouragement that Travis gives Ashley now that she’s the barbarian.
