I like the fact that Mrs Smith and Mrs Rook are interested on who was there at the concert (1.26) , to think people used to be interested in one another and genuinely cared once upon a time, a time when people were likeable, approachable, mysterious and interesting and chance's of agreeable acquaintance's been made were much greater than what we are today, all this keeping to ourself's and been weary with the world isn't healthy. People take note.

all true. and i m sure that back then you could leave a drink unattended and be safe you won t find any unhappy chemical surprises in it later, specially as a woman. on the other hand it was even more about title and appearence as it is today, and being a woman was no fun either. ok it still isnt today but at least we got creditcards right? ;)
