I saw Peter Gabriel live in 1994. The show I saw was just as good as this, but better because I was actually there. Watching this brings a few tears to my eyes.. Peter, you're a legend and an inspiration to millions!

To experience PG live is to celebrate life itself...........the entire audience dancing in unison, mirroring the moves onstage......arms raising up to Heaven (3:49, 6:16...............smiling faces overcome with joy.......if you have seen him live, you feel the swelling of your heart as you listen to this..........PG transformed my life a long time ago...........Thank God for him and his music. Peace:-)

I love this song. My dad past away 2 years ago and he introduced me to peter gabriel , genesis and more great artists. This Always reminds me of the times we just sat together listining to music the entire evening without speaking. Just let the music guide you. Wonderfull memories. Love you dad!

I think the genius of this man will never be truly comprehended or appreciated. His songs have life, meaning, emotion, and every aspect of art that art can mean. I was lucky enough to see him live. To me, this version is my favorite.

This song is as new as it was twenty years ago. I remember putting my daughter who was 1 year to sleep. My daughter is twenty now, and even she thinks that it is one of the best she has heard. ALL I CAN SAY is that PG is one of the GOD'S of Music. Pink Floyd are the other GOD's of MUsic. ENJOY this music while u can.

Most artists are happy to have one great song on an album, PG fills albums with great songs, this man has a talent so rare, it has been lost in todays music, I've been a big fan since the early Genesis days, the best move he ever made was to leave Genesis.

Nothing has rung my bell in life more than this. The notes Sevara's solo/journey takes you on (if you let it) speaks directly to your spirit as you watch her's dance/lift about on stage, swirling, bubbling, & bouncing lightly. Sheer perfection personified!

Not usually something I crank up on my stereo. I am a 50 yo cat and listen to Finland's Kalmah,Insomnium and Sweden's Amon Amarth but I recall the day this song came out on M-TV and thought it was cool. Phil Collins rode on the creative coat tail of Pete. Sorry if my opinion burns some arse but the truth hurts...live with it. God bless you Peter my friend.

Love how he incorporates various sounds from the other artists such as Sevara. She did an album of Uzbek folk songs. Happy to find such good stuff. Oh yes, love the song in the movie Say Anything. Music is such a help when times are difficult. It can make me feel good for a little. It can take me to another place, mentally.

My single favorite song of all time (only this particular version), with no close second. In the area of music, the single most astonishingly beautiful & spiritually highest perfection personified interaction I've ever registered while on this rock & no doubt ever will, is in this particular version of this song, & it occurs between Peter & Sevara (Angelic Russian Asian singer from Uzbekistan).

in every musicians career, he/she experiences that seminal moment in time where every musician present recognizes a magical presence....like time standing still....when nothing before and nothing after will be as perfect as that precise instance. its clear to me(at least)....that such a moment was taking place here. i've heard many versions of this song, and none equal the emotion or the spiritual level this version reaches. i am fortunate to have been able to witness this magical moment.

This is among my favorite songs. I'd like to one day play it at my wedding when I fall in love again. I fantasized about what it would be like to fall in love so deeply - to be in a "secret world" with someone. Unfortunately I found that and lost it with a former fiance so it's hard not to think of her when I hear the song even after four years apart. Oh, well, it's wonderful to be able to listen to this again.

An amazing thing, how some music can place you in a moment in time so intensely. With you, except it was when this song came out in 1986 and it was my hs sweetheart. I'm now married, but not to her. Have a daughter i sneakily named after her sort of because i hope she grows into a woman similar to her. Been a while since ive thought about how long its been but it's over 30 years and i still miss the THOUGHT of her. Never have i felt anything close to that and don't believe i ever will. Though I realized only in the last few months that I'm thankful we headed in different directions in 1990 because i wouldn't have my exceptional daughter and because i don't believe love like that can continue to BURN for decades. It's too much for us to handle. There were times when 16yo we'd be drinking and id look at her and feel so close that she was like my sister, the connection was deep and overpowering. I'll never forget her and never want to. I hope my daughter will find a first true love like i had, just with a better man than me. Everything happens for a reason, that's how the STUPID saying goes, but i believe, like me, you'll enjoy the memory, and thought of the 2 of you together forever and smile. You will find love again, may not burn as HOT but the coals will continue to spark and comfort you a lifetime. Appreciate what you had, but never let it keep you from taking your next step. There's Joy out there brother.
