These cars can tell you if it's a key problem in 2 seconds, if you use a authorized key and switch ignition to off and leave the key in ignition in off posision, then open the drivers door, the car will continually beep with the notorious Peugeot beep, to alert you you have left the key in the ignition, however if there is no beeping with key In and drivers door open, this is because the car does not recognise the key and so the car thinks there is no key there for no need to activate the alert beep

You know it's funny, I work on cars in the United States in Florida to be exact, it's interesting to see the exact same crap happens across the pond where people really don't know what they're doing and they just throw parts that a problem instead of educating themselves and actually diagnosing the fault! It's also interesting to see that the junk yards there use the exact same yellow paint marker to mark their parts as they do here in the states 🤣🤣

Thank you, how i wish I saw this earlier, my car got the same problem and we tried everything and it didn't work and the mechanic end up changing the fuel pump and injectors to but not electric injectors, The car is running fine now but the economy mode keeps coming on every now and then and shutdown the the lights and windows

Hello sir..perhaps you can give me advice about my Peugeot 206 1.4 HDI...the starter is turning the engine,but there is NO electrical working in the car,no lights at all..There is a clikking sound from under the fusebox in engineroom,,could it be a relay or something sitting under the fusebox.All the fuses looks okay...Thank for good channel.keep up the good work.

Hi! I have problem with my Peugeot 407, and I really need help. I'm desperate. My central locking doesn't work properly, or the keys, or the BSI, I don't know anymore. I SUSPECT THAT THE BSI IS THE PROBLEM! The problem is that the car seems to contantly "keep forgeting" the keys. So the situation is next, I've tried to make a BSI reset multiple times, successfully. After that, keys still don't work. When I turn ignition on, and hold lock button on the key for 10 seconds (syncronizing), after that key is working outstanding!!! After that, as soon as I lock the car, and wait for around 3,30 minutes, again keys will not work. There is few other problems: 1. kilometers on my trip computer (on the radio) are stuck on 1988 km, they are counting normally from 1988 km every time I start and drive the car, but every time when I reset trip to 0 and leave the car, after around 3.30 minutes, kilometers are back to 1988 km. 2. my fuel gauge is not working properly, when the tank is full it shows around 15% less fuel, 3. drivers seat heating isn't working. On top of that there is one major problem. When is hot weather outside, my car simply turns off or cuts off when driving. After that I can normally start the car and drive it. It can happen anywhere, anytime and multiple times. There is no rules. But only during hot and summer weather. In winter or cold weather everything is just fine. People are telling me that the problem is in BSM (FUSE AND RELAY BOX) under the bonnet, some kind of contact in the BSM or so.. Please can you help me? Did you had similar cases?? Hi imsvvavr ,,,,,Sure u are good!!!we finally found that an Electrical sensor(not Absolutely sure What is called now)just somewhere beneath the fuse box in the bonnet somewhere Above the front left Tyre is what has made my car not start ...its just a contact problem as we stumbled on it and then the check engine light came up and my car starts now. The problem was with a small device located further down the Ecu its was unbelievable that just a tape could fix a problem that has made me sleepless for many nights..... I hope u get my Explanation.

It was not full working order, but then it snowed, and I didn’t drive it for a week. I got snow under the bonnet when I checked the oil. There was also a light unplugged, which I plugged back in. But now the car wont start, not even crank. I bought a new battery, and the central locking went when I connected it, but the car still won’t make a sound. Dash doesn’t turn on either. wow!!!great video ...... my 307 (2014)cranks but will not start ,,,its starts after i leave it for hours then it wont start after i drive it long distance.very unpredictable!The rave counter, temperature gauge and A/c works and then stops intermittently as i drive through the day.I noticed it always starts if the check engine sign comes up after ignition but wont start if the check engine sign doesn't show. kindly suggest what do do.

Hello I’ve nearly the same problem with my 207 I’ve replaced the engine bay fusebox but still just a clicking from the fusebox in the engine bay and only one click from the passenger side fusebox too. I then found of after running a ground from the ecu to the car body the engine bay fusebox stopped clicking and the inside fusebox only let one click off now but still no crank. It’s recognising key as the dinging when u open the door with the key in the ignition unless it is a immobiliser problem I’m totally stuck

Hey, my key fob broke for Peugeot 307 (one of the buttons broke off on the electric chip) so I ordered a new fob online. I changed the blade over but car is not recognizing the new key fob and saying antitheft. If I hold the old key chip near the ignition it will let me start... But I cannot work out for the life of me how to pair the new key. I've seen some BSI reset things online and also tried clicking fob for 10 secs (including with old chip.. but don't think the old circuit is complete with missing button so not working). Any ideas how I can pair the new key??

i had an issue: Engine immobilizer fault. i am not able to start the engine (cranking but not able to start). Push the car to the side. Waited for 15 minutes. It able to start again. I worry it will happen again because this is not the first time i encountered. What else should i check?

Good day i have seen alot of your videos im from RSA i have a Peugeot 206 cc cabriolet coupe 1.6L the engine mounting broke of and i hand problems with the starter clicking(after a few click it will engage and start as normal) sound when i repaired the engine mounting i send the starter in they repaired it fixing Bendix drive shaft and changed the solenoid after i installed it i turned the key to on position and try to start but nothing happed took out the starter saw they connected the one wire wrong i reinstalled the starter same thing if i take a wire from the starter at the small trigger wire point to tap on the +battery it starts other faults after changing the starter roof doesn't work windows doesn't work and the weird thing is the hazard works sometime and then not and this bounces my brain cause the hazards should always work any idea what this could be so the main problem is the ignition doesn't activate the starter(i am using my spare key for a while now )

It just gives a quick crank for 2 seconds and then shuts of. I've tried with jump leads but no help. Hello, maybe you can help me a little. I got a 01' 206 non can bus. After changing the ignition lock i accidently tried to start the engine with the wrong transponder. My 2012 Peugeot 308 diesel only 29000 miles warning lights came on including the power steering and the power steering failed while i was driving ... the fault was the alternator apparently if your battery drops below about 11 volts all hell breaks out the car will try to kill you and your passengers ... new alternator £500 fitter ... sound expensive but the alternator was about £400..

7:28 I don't get it. You took transponder which couldn't be read by zedbull, put it on other PCB, and then the zedbull could read it ? That makes no sense. Transponder is a standalone device, not depending on any pcb (at least for ignition part) . Or ?

Nice accent, from Portugal by any chance, that's cool by the way the problem I have in my 206 is that there's DTC code on the issue that caused it has been fixed but know no one can delete the fault and the engine management light it's always on, tried different devices and no joy so someone suggested that I need to change the ECU because one of many devices that was connected to the car said "unable to communicate with the ECU" and that was it and I was just searching for the consequences of changing the ECU on a Peugeot but after seeing your video I'm not very keen on doing it, now if, only if, you be ever so kind to share your wisdom on the subject I'll thank you in advance and I'll be very happy to subscribe best regards

Same model, same year, key doesn't have a transponder, but same symptoms. Turns over and runs, take for a drive, get back, turn it off, go to start again and it just won't crank. Battery is good. Any ideas?!!!
