Peugeot 308 Alarm Siren Triggers After Locking it Sets Off.

Our Peugeot 308 SW has this very annoying fault where the Alarm sets off after locking the car with the key fob so we set out to find the fault and do a fix.

this has saved me I have been going mental about this for about 5 months and this was the problem, and someone has previously tried to fix it but with tape I have now used zip tie and boom we are sorted! Thanks alot for this video!

Amazing thank you. I’ve bought a cat n write off 308. All front end damage. Replaced all front end alarm being going off since I bought it. I’ve fully repaired it but couldn’t get the alarm to stop other than manual locking so I’ll give this a go 🤞🏼

I think your autel machine has the ability to tell you which alarm sensor has activated in live data. Always useful for alarm faults

Ive got the same issue but soldering the wires together hasnt fixed it. Alarm fuse is ok too....one thing i don't know is if the intrusion sensor button should work as mine doesnt light at all, thinking theirs a fuse im missing....

I have done the same thing and the alarm activates straight away once I press the locking button now.

I would have done the exact same thing. If you fit a new one how long would it last. Good job again.

I have the same issue, accept the alarm sounds when I hold the sensor in. any ideas ?

@@Szokron you need to take your car to the nearest peugeot dealer. There is a bug in the old software which only the dealer can fix. They'll plug it in a update the software. Process doesn't take to long but it will cost around £120. My car developed the problem when I changed the battery after the stop start failed to work anymore. Apparently it happens when the battery dies and needs recharging too.

If u locked the car by the fob and the key now is only thing is worked can u stil disable alarm in side somehow i washed my keys in the dryer last night? 307 peurgeot

Does the alarm go off if you start the car?
