Peugeot e-208 Review A great car with some flaws

The other week it was -4C outside and I managed to get 213 miles of range A lot depends on the way you drive I leave mine in eco most of the time and use regen braking. Also when I am stationary at lights etc I knock it into Neutral(this saves the motor running against the brakes)I have the heating set to 18-20C and the car feels comfortable I use Apple CarPlay all the time Car switches to it automatically when my phone is first plugged in. I went from a mid size petrol SUV to my e-208 And I’m loving it!

I love my e208. I did a long motorway drive over the winter when it was -2c and I started with 93% charge, did 98 miles in eco mode and there was still 20% charge left. Usually with regen braking I get about 180 miles on a charge. I definitely wouldn't mind a bit more range, but luckily the routes I take are well supported with chargers. I use Apple Carplay all the time and have never had a problem, so not sure why you were running into problems. The only issue I have with the car is that the front pillars on either side of the windscreen are very thick and I find them obscuring my visibility more than I would like. Other than that I'm finding it a fantastic car.

Over 3 years here with zero problems, works great and is warm even when -35C.

Here in Belgium is a fully equiped e208 is only a fraction cheaper (€1000) than Tesla model 3. But it has 100km less range, no charging network, half the power, less space,... it is a nice a car but it is years behind.

Quite different in the UK as CCS cars can use a lot of Tesla charging stations now. Most people also buy on lease (new) or used, which works out much cheaper. Model 3 is still much more expensive here.

It's worth noting that the GOM is not to be trusted. Multiple times over the winter I had it reading as low as 100 miles of range but that is because it bases it off your previous driving and if you have the heating on and do lots of short drives it is going to take into account that the heating is blasting at 5kw and think it will be like that all the time which is where it gets its really inaccurate reading from. Use the miles/kWh reading and multiple that by 45 for a realistic range. The lowest I saw over winter was 3.3 miles/kWh which is 148.5 miles. Absolutely no way in hell was your car only going to get 90 miles. This car has been tested by Bjorn in Norway in colder temps than the UK sees with pure motorway drives and still gets more than 90 miles.

Hi yes agree have been driving EVs for 5 years but this was the worst efficiency I have seen on a EV

I use 3 miles per kWh as a benchmark in wet / cold weather, then take the usable range of the car and multiply by 0.8 because a). I don't want to hit turtle mode on a motorway and b). I want to be able to keep the heating on max. In summer, I use 3.5 or 4 miles / kWh, depending on the efficiency of the EV (and use of AC). e-208 is 46kWh usable battery, so I'd calc: 46 x 3 x 0.8 = 110 miles (winter) and 46 x 3.5 x 0.8 = 129 mies for summer (minimum).
