For Sunday Ticket subscribers it probably doesn’t mean much. I’ve actually gotten quite a few checks over the years because of settlements agreed upon by various companies. I almost never cash those checks. Why? Well usually, just by cashing a check you usually relinquish any other claims you could make against the company, if you read the fine print. I don’t cash them but I do scan them and save the PDF file, just in case. I got a check for one dollar - I s-t you not - about six months ago and the company keeps hounding me to cash it. I mean, it’s not even worth my time to pick up my phone, log into my bank app, take pictures of both sides, and deposit one dollar. (Now if I got a check that’s worthwhile, say, in the hundreds of dollars, I might change my tune.)

Like I said in a previous post, the NFL can pay this off in 4 easy payments. Customer's like me had this as a way to pay for the Sunday Ticket. It was so expensive that a payment plan was offered. With technology, local tv stations can figure it out to not lose commercial business.

What national tv station is going to buy the Panthers vs Cardinals at 1 pm? NFL just needs to make it more affordable and give the consumers more options like single team packages it’s what makes the most sense.

Whats the point of having all this jury trial pomp and circumstance if the judge can just be like, naaaaaah, eff their decision, imm do what I wanna do...?

Did the verdict say anything about the NFL giving Sunday Ticket to only a single outlet being an anti-trust violation? I hope that was part of it because it could have implications for EA Sports being the only video game publisher being given a license to make a simulation style NFL video game. This part of the video game market desperately needs competition.

So if one was on the fence as to whether or not to get Sunday ticket this year perhaps it's a good time to do it. You might receive a partial refund in a few years. Granted the NFL might ultimately win, the lawyers will get a lot of & your money will be tied up for years again if you were on the fence anyway.

I'm a huge NFL fan, but I have stuff to do. Why not save all that time & money and watch the recaps on KZfaq that take 9-15mins each. NFL games last 3hrs, I can watch all the games in that time period.

nfl was gouging nbody. What about UFC... they set the price for each pay per view..... you have a choice. Pay or dont watch. How is the UFC any different?
