Ramen is a heavy soup with only two to three slices of pork, pho has so many cuts and the broth are light and refreshing.

Phil, I'm African-American and I don't feel alienated. I feel like I've been informed. I like to be educated about the food, music, history, popular trends, and other aspects of many cultures. I didn't know about a lot of these foods and I'm inspired to seek them out and try them.

I wish I had a friend like you! Not everyone is so accepting of "foreign" foods and judge before even trying. You can come over and eat the fabulous delicious Vietnamese food my mom cooks.

Ramen can be either cheap food for broke college students or it can be a fancy dish. Pho is a good middle ground food. It also has more of a “comfort food” vibe than ramen imo.

Got to go with Pho. I never had bad Pho in my life. Ramen is a hit or miss sometime. Legit Ramen is also cost 2-3x more than Phi in NYC.

The "Ling Ling" reference is a nod to Twoset Violin (Brett Yang and Eddy Chen) who created it and has successfully turned it into a viral meme as well as has an active subreddit under that label. Must check them out. Obsessed with them as a former string musician myself, their humor absolutely resonates volumes with me.

Ramen is good for occasionally. Pho is good for daily. I used to think I like Ramen over Pho until I have it every 3 or 4 times a week for a month and I start to get bored of it. Then, I tried the same with Pho. I concluded I could live eating Pho everyday but not Ramen. If i have to pick on the spot where to go, I would go for Ramen.

I love both! But I’ve had ramen in Japan and so I know I’ve had the best. I’ve only had Pho in the US so I’m sure it’s better in Vietnam. But I think they are so different from each other. Not only the noodles are so different but the soups and ingredients are so different. Right now I like ramen better because I’ve had the best. But I crave both usually.

Beef meat with the bones that has marrow in it boiled with onions salt and pepper for hours. And then it also has corn and some veggies. It so good and hearty😊😊 i also like sinigang specially if you add chili 🌶 yummmmmm 😋😋😋😋

Hard choice but I’m gonna go with ramen. After living in Japan and experiencing Oga-shi kani (crab) ramen fresh from the waters and Akita’s signature Tonkotsu ramen, I was forever changed!! Hard finding good ramen places in the US after that experience.

Another Chinese soup is 麻辣燙/mala tang! Maybe not as commonly known unless you’re from certain areas in China, but very good if you can take spicy hehe 😂

omg wes Me too I love clear soups. I enjoy ramen every now and then but ramen is often too heavy for my tastes and I hate the fast-food aspect of it (in japan). its not really a meal for catching up with friends (at least in Japan)

We've had a Sienna I think the year was 2012. Ngl its annoying sometimes but its still runs great. Snack one I don't even know what I would choose. Top would be rice crackers and egg tarts. Get rid of HelloPanda and YanYan definitely a childhood snack and like it now but I wouldn't crave it.

I love Khmer curry 😍 but I prefer it with bread/French Baguette rather than noodles lol. I favor rice over noodles, but my weakness is any kind of big, flat noodle 😍💕 for heros, my faves are Jet & Samo!
