I'm gonna guess that "Fei Tigen Admiral" is a mistranslation of.... ghostbuster. Fei could be fairy and gets applied to a lot of paranormal things as a loose translation. If tigen somehow means cancel, there's your buster. I'm guessing Admiral gets in there somehow from a word like hunter or something along those lines.

Since Fei, Ti, and Gen are all sounds used in Mandarin and it's made in China, I figured I'd see if I could figure it out, but I couldn't find anything that made perfect sense. Fei Ti (非体) could mean "non-physical" or if reaching a bit "without a body". I couldn't find a suitable Gen, however. It could be 根, this Gen meaning root or origin, combining to mean something like "from the non-physical," but it wouldn't typically be said that way. Therefore, I can't say for sure without more evidence, and even the fact it is so close to relating to the figure in some way doesn't help because there is at least one other I know about TiGen (体亘) could potentially refer to stretching limbs, even though only his neck stretches. I tried my best, but ultimately I can neither confirm or deny that Fei Tigen is Chinese. Of course, the lack of Engrish makes it likely I wasted my time.

Maybe they thought it was Coulier!Venkman since he is, after all, a butthead.

I have a soft spot for Butt-Head as my Dad and Uncle are pictured together with one (we got him one for Christmas based on the name) & the latter has since passed. So it's neat to see him bootlegged in such a strange way.

I think I figured out the name. At least one of the Real Ghostbusters toys has a pronunciation "joke" (more likely a form of censoring to avoid immature kids knowing what it means?), "X-Cop" like "Ex-Cop" since he's dead. Fei Tegen Admiral can be pronounced as "Fight Again Admiral", as in a zombie.. I think this was an attempt at a creative name, but they didn't understand how to do this quite right. xD

It's ironic that a bootleg says it's from the "real" ghostbusters line.

There is "fertigen" in german which means something like "to build" or finish/assemble something, a product. There is also "Tiger" which means tiger in english (surprise).... Fei and tigen however make no sense.

Fei Tigen takes it all in stride, always giving two thumbs up! As a long time fan of He-Man, even going into "New Adventures," I can tell you that many laughs were had at the name "Butthead." Pretty much any toy that wasn't He-Man or Skeletor, from NA, didn't sell very well. Its so funny seeing so may price adjustments on that figure's card. They would go so far as to pair other figures with He-Man and Skeletor just so they could sell them. I actually think the color scheme of Fei Tigen is much better than the actual Butthead figure. Maybe if the original had that design, they would have sold more. Heh

Seeing the other toys on the back of the packaging hit me with a wave of nostalgia. I'd go over to my cousin's house when we were kids and he had all that stuff, was usually dressed up in the little suit and everything. Simpler times.

It's looks like they either remade the mold for Fei Tigen head or they tried to mix the mask with Butt-Head mold for Fei Tigen because the head details are slightly different

I know I'm late but I think the reason the rubbery parts are sticky is due to plasticizer leaking out. This happens to a lot of vintage toys including original my little ponies.

As a massive Masters of the Universe fan (but a "pretend it didn't happen" New Adventures non-fan) and a pretty big Real Ghostbusters fan, this is a weird but fascinating bootleg. I never much cared for NA character designs; in principal he actually seems to fit RGB far better, with that demonic face. Just a shame bits keep falling off of him. But then maybe, just maybe... he's a zombie and the limbs falling off bit is a surprise feature they didn't mention on the packaging?!... Why yes, that's surely it!!

They probably spelled fatigued wrong. Possibly in an attempt to refer to army fatigues which is dumb but fatigued probably accurately describes how you feel after playing with it and having to cope multiple times with it’s easily broken leg.
