because there's not a lot of low tones with these boxes, so slap in mid range is perfect

BINGO! in fact all these pjb demos all sound like crap.. people say all those tiny drivers actike a big piston and heat dissipation etc and all the demos sound like throwing pots and pans down the stairs while Seinfeld is coming in the TV.
