I like Phils style better. Victor is like watching a person who gets technical points for doing high difficulty tricks stringed together.

Victor just hits each move a little more crisp. I think he looks polished and that just gives him the edge. Phil is great but looks less controlled

Phil's floor work is already amazing but I hope to see him pulling some more toprock off. This is such a close battle and Vic's groovy toprock at the start of each round got me.

Phil eliminates top rock from 2nd and 3rd sets cause he knows the judges aren't really evaluating based on that content. You can see similar approach in red bull bc one

Phil almost won that but I think its because Victor has a cleaner set. I see Phil wiz being a red bull champ one day I think if he perform cleaner he wins easily. He has everything. Vic was all power moves but clean.

Thats big stage and camera breaking. This is a new era and the media is putting it on once again. These people are making a career from this now so props to them.The hard battles still go on though. Even in those days we had flashy spin b boys compared to raw battlers.

yup Phil is freestyling that's why He can repeat moves he did before as lots of ppl mention that. On the other hand Victor sets looks all the same he's very boring to watch - i don't like this type of breaking.

Those are all victors own moves though, he puts the sets together with the majority his original moves…. What you call Phil’s “freestyling” looks like he repeats moves, and not as much originality… biting moves etc. I think that’s the major difference.

If this is the old judging way then Phil won for sure but they doing this lame point system thing and Victor knows how to play with it. But victors been doing the same thing for years now I think he’s stuck at what he’s at. While Phil plays with music and creative and definitely has newer moves every time he comes out

I miss what breaking used to be in the 90s 00s always something new and fresh. Now it’s the same songs and same moves over and over again.

These guys are at every major competition and jam, so ofc you're going to see many of the same moves, its not realistic to expect them to have new sets every week

Back in the 90s you wouldn’t see new moves until a year or two after they would come out lol unless you were going to every single jam.

@@pabloenrikay I was breaking in the 90s. I saw new moves every week at practice and every event I went to. Granted there were only a few events a year then people still had more creativity due to less influence from the internet.
