@@mrbone009 Yes it is. The management and coaching have done a remarkable job with this team so far. Before the season, nobody expected the Flyers to even be close to a playoff spot during this rebuild. So I consider our current standing a bonus. And it's looking even better now.

We may miss the playoffs and that definitely sucks but we knew this going into this season, it's a rebuild so the fact that where this far along is pretty exciting. Not trying to bust balls but sometimes that's how we have to look at it, total rebuild@@mrbone009

@@mrbone009 The fact we're even in the playoff picture at all, let alone for as long as we have, is more than any of us expected. And now our guy, who's been held hostage by Russia for years, has finally made the journey over and is ready to get started. Michkov is only a year or two behind, Kolosov is here now too, guys should be coming back from injury in the next few weeks, and the playoffs are a dozen or less games away. So fuck yeah, it's an exciting time to be a fan.

We're going to find out Fedotov signed his KHL deal under duress. Remember, they picked him up off the street in an unmarked van, conscripted him into the Russian Navy, and sent him to the Arctic Circle - for signing with the Flyers. Russian is very, very different. It's ruled not by Putin, but by oligarchs. One of those oligarchs owns Fedotov's KHL team. He didn't want Fedotov to leave - that's what this has all been about. NOTICE NO ONE IN PHILLY MEDIA HAS BEEN THE LEAST BIT CURIOUS ABOUT THIS STORY.

Flyers are nothing more than overachievers. They will need more than a giant Russian goalie. Their offense sucks and PP is pathetic. They are nothing but overachievers who also choke because they have no elite talent. Without Torts, last place team which would have been better for draft talent. FLYERS MVP this season are Torts, the posts, and other teams losing. Playoffs or even a playoff round 1 series win, overachievers can do anything but win a cup. It's possible to overachieve for 90% of the season and choke for the final 10%. Anything is possible when you are inconsistent with no elite players.
