Foreigner is a very general term because there are so many nationality outside the Philippines. But anyway i think most of your respondent specifically think about the causacian or white people the way they describe it.

I have found Filipinas to be quite complex in nature.

it's nice to hear we foreigners are in general terms well received and even wanted there... yet, I think the first instinct of a Pinay is to mate with her own kind, as it's human nature to find the first one of her own... if that doesn't work, looks like the foreigners are the last option that they are willing to try... I for one, admire an open mind, at least open to try, as it is with the Philipines... some closed bubble - xenophobic societies - are not even willing to try... Japan, SK, China...

It's always good to get different people's perspectives, it's good to hear these ladies opinions. One nice thing I noticed, all of the ladies were able to put their phones down and actually look like they were interested in doing the interview. Seeing ones being interviewed and constantly looking at their phones shows it's not important to them and what they have to say is of no importance to the audience either, so no reason to bother with the interview. Foreigners being open and direct can be good and bad, just depends on the person they are talking to, and how they perceive it. Some may be appreciative of it because it helps remove confusion and understanding in what they're really saying, others may see it as them being arrogant, condescending and disrespectful. I think a woman, especially one in a relationship, should NOT be talking about sexual and PRIVATE things with anyone other than their partner, and definitely not on social media. It is NOT a good look or lady like when the 1st impression is a sexual one, says a lot about her personal character and NOT in a good way. That is no different than having 100's-1000's of guy "friends" on social media, both are just begging for attention from guys that are NOT their partner, and is disrespectful to their partner. How can a guy TRUST her if she is going to openly talk about HIS PRIVATE LIFE to others, and displaying sexual behaviors to others? A man is a direct representation of the lady by his side, if she is respectful, dresses and behaves in a CLASSY manor, then he is seen as such. If she is loud, rude, disrespectful and dresses in tight skimpy clothes, then the man is NOT seen as someone to be respected and is opening him up to be looked down upon by the locals. The kind of content you display, whether it be social media videos like KZfaq, how you talk/dress/behave, is the type of audience you will attract. You don't go to a heavy metal concert to hear Beethoven, you go to a symphany to hear it, you want helpful information to make an informed decision you go to a channel that is kept classy and provides that information. You dress in skimpy outfits and talk about sexual things, you will attract the deviants. You dress a bit more conservatively and talk about helpful informative topics and you will attract those seriously looking to move to the Philippines and find a serious relationship. Remember ladies, men do like mystery, mystique, a challenge, dressing in skimpy clothes showing off all your "assets" takes all of that away from them. They are more intrigued by the lady they have to use their imagination and guess what is under there, and becomes a challenge to find out. Ms. Girlie is an absolute gem!! She's energetic, uplifting, and puts a smile on your face. She's definitely correct about liars, I HATE them, the ONLY correct answer is the HONEST one. A lie is a lie regardless of how big or small and for whatever reason, and destroys all trust in that person. Once you lose my trust, you will NEVER get it back. The truth will ALWAYS make itself known, and when it does you will look far worse than had you just told the truth to start with.

Why do the interviewees seem to get the impression that foreigners are only white? Are they the majority that visit the Philippines? It would be interesting to know Philippinas' thoughts on non-white, Western born-and-raised men like myself. The Filipina Pea covered this topic very well, but I'd like to hear more on it.
