PHILIPPINES ISLAND PROVINCE ROAD TRIP!
Marinduque is the "Heart of the Philippines", and we road tripped here fro Cavite for Holy Week. This day starts off in Boac, where I try a local pancake snack called "Saludsud". From there, we make our way to the other side of the island and the Municipality of Torrijos. There is a beautiful white sand beach... and I found the best Guyabano and wild honey shake! Driving back to Santa Cruz, we stumbled upon a unique weaving house! It was literally just a house along the side of the road... but locals weaving fabric using a unique plant!
After road tripping around... we end at the Grand Lenten Parade! This was the first time the Municipality of Santa Cruz had this style of Holy Week activity.
Another amazing experience in Marinduque! A beautiful Island Province off the coast of Luzon!

a thought just popped in my mind just now... Kulas, now that you are (or on your way to become) a Filipino citizen... you are PERFECT to become our future Secretary of Tourism!... with no political affiliations, and no elections needed (but if you run you will definitely win hehehe) because you will be appointed... You know the whole of the Philippines better than anyone i think... locals know their area or province the best, but you know the whole of the Phlippines and that is what we need... you love the locals, the locals love you... you love buying local. etc, etc... it's just perfect... and Therine can be in-charge of promoting local products... the perfect team... you will just crush it!... Happy Easter Kulas and Therine! and to Kumar, Jandee, Mad man, and the rest of the gang! Mabuhay kayo!

I doubt that plus the way he pronounce bisaya and tagalog is so annoying no offense dudes been here for probably a decade already yet he cant speak fluent tagalog

My great grandfather had an old Spanish house in the town of Boac and a beach house in Gasan. My cousin is now building a beach house to retire in on part of the same property. We had such wonderful memories as kids whenever we spent our Summer vacations on the island. I haven't been back since my family emigrated to the US in 1976. I miss it!

Sino po lawd? Si Horus po ba? Alam nyo po ba na duon na kuha yun idea na yan sa Egyptian mythology? Nice costumes po. Pero bat wla ako nakita na costumes nang Filipino nuong umpisa tayo ma colonise enslaved nang mga Castilla?? Oh well Stockholm syndrome at its finest. All the best po and ingat tayo.

I love Therine's shirt! I don't know how she can work with so much going on all around. She's so disciplined. I know I'd be so distracted by all the things to do and experience there. The costumes of all the different groups are so amazing to see, and the Church of the Holy Cross is just spectacularly beautiful! Thanks for bringing us along for all of this. Power on! 💪🤙

I feel bad for Therine. I got my bag from the expo center. You need to visit it because that’s where they sell local crafts. Sooooo many of them. Bags, hats, food, shirts. I’m supposed to be local but I couldn’t get my hands off of them lol and the local cookies and stuff. The banana chips sold at BOAC hotel is to die for lol

Considering that’s the Philippines, the entire city of BOAC looks amazingly clean! A role model to other Philippine cities. Really don’t know if he filmed and just showed very selective sections of town but from the footage shown, WOW! Kudos to the local town officials and more importantly the residents who obviously respects their surroundings.More power to you!

Saludsod is made from rice flour, sugar and buko.., it was one of my favorite merienda when I was young..Sta Cruz is my hometown and Sta cCruz church was one of the oldest church in Marinduque, As I remember my mom used to wake me up and my siblings at around 4am every sunday to attend the 5am mass...Poctoy beach is well developed now, we used to go there before and the road going there from Sta Cruz was quite stiff and narrow..I missed my province , we’re planning to visit soon.Thank you Kulas for showcasing my small but beautiful island province..👍🙏❤️🇵🇭
