Hi, thanks for the demonstration! I saw that you turned off all lights at once, but if you want to turn off the left lamp and the ceiling lamp is it possible to keep just the right lamp or you need do turn off all at once first? Regards

Does this work with the newer V2 version ? I have a landing light and a downstairs light and they are on the same circuit with a double light switch upstairs and down…how would I configure it ?

Very informative video. Can you organise the actions so that one of the lights in your setup will come on in a pre-dimmed state, in a different colour? So for instance in your set-up, could you choose to make it so that if you press & hold the 'off' button your lamp #2 comes on blue & dimmed (for example)? Also could you set up so that, if you switched lamp #1 on, then switched on lamp #2 also, you could then switch off lamp #1 without switching off lamp #2 at the same time? So lamp #2 would be left on and lamp #1 would be switched off, even though lamp #2 was switched on after #1 was switched on.

Yes you can set the bulb colour & brightnessnfor each set press of the button.

great now how do i use it to control intensity on the damn hue syncbox without going through a bunch of shit of making some custom software?

are the left and richt lamp different white tone...?

Yes they are the one of the right was set to a more white colour compared to the left.

You take us through the entire unboxing but then the app is just open on your phone, we have no idea which app youre using or anything.

well awesome "hack". Essentials wants me to buy a bridge before I am able to use one switch to control 2 lights. What a useless system.
