@@OakApplegardens Not sure what you mean. This episode aired in Jan 2005 so was likely shot in 2004 and that is clearly a Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop. It is the laptop the people doing the pitch used and put on his table to presumably show him stuff.

"Despite smuggling notes into the Den" I get people get nervous, but the pitch is your CORE. How do you not at least know your pitch? Let alone bring in notes and reading it out like some secondary school debate student.

Josh M making presentations is a skill all engineers should have. Engineers have to make presentations to clients all the time. I completed an engineering qualification and one of my courses was pretty much devoted entirely to making presentations.

To be fair, having a full written script makes perfect sense to me. That way you don't have to worry about missing out on anything and it's the best way to convey the most amount of information to them.

yeah these old style dragons are ruthless and cut throat..the newer episodes..although Peter Jones is still just as ruthless..they have mellowed out allot and its a lot more "emotional"

@@marks6663 I'm guessing the term "smuggling" would mean "not allowed". In which case they would have stopped the presentation and took it off him. In the same way for example they would stop the presentation if he swore or made an inappropriate remark. Because those things are also not allowed. So the fact that he was allowed to continue, and the dragons didn't seem to have a problem with it either, means he couldn't have "smuggled" it in.

Saw a system like this used in the Botham Jean vs Amber Guyger murder case in the US. It was used to reconstruct the flight of two bullets and to dispute the defense's claim that Guyger was standing in the doorway when she fired the shots. So, the system is definitely out there, right now.

Worse, his product was crap-but he actually was extremely confident in it & spoke well. This is the polar opposite, they have a great product, but cannot string a sentence together-well the other one is a bit better, but the first one is horrendous.
