Heres a somber, longer version of a great song. Hope you enjoy, and if you're dealing with loss, hope it brings a bit of peace or comfort.
This is a tune by Steve Martin, go check out his original version of it, its phenomenal. He's truly one of the best banjo players of our time. I'm in C tuning here.

That's a great image. The tune appears to be repeating but as Heraclitus said, though probably in Greek, "No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man." I believe this would also apply to other humans.

First time for me hearing this composition. Quite beautiful. I am old an amateur mando player in my spare time. But I always love and salute the banjo players of the world. I hope some of the world greats get a chance to see / hear your picking. We are living in an Americana renaissance.

Anazing song. And, you played it incredibly well! Loved it. Steve Martin is a master banjo musician and you honored him well with this one. I will replay this a lot. Please don’t ever stop your art. That was really awesome, congratulations! I love the ending when you played with your eyes closed, fully experiencing the music. It seems like a meditation and at the end when you finished the music you woke up and came back to reality...
