Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies sees the return of courtroom hero Phoenix Wright some eight years since his last appearance in the courts, The much loved gameplay and features from previous titles in the Ace Attorney™ series return but for the first time in stunning 3D graphics, bringing the courtroom and characters to life and putting players directly in the heart of the action. Players will need to investigate each crime scene with the dynamic 3D visuals now making it possible to change views and zoom in on areas to uncover any hidden evidence or clues. In the court room the drama continues as players present their evidence, challenge witnesses and begin to unravel the truth behind each of the cases in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney -Dual Destinies.
Anyone purchasing Phoenix Wright™: Ace Attorney™ - Dual Destinies between October 24 and November 7 will receive a costume pack containing an alternative outfit for each of the three main characters; Phoenix Wright, Apollo Justice and Athena Cykes for absolutely free of charge. Thereafter the costume pack will be available to purchase for €0.99. This is going to be _awesome_. The voice acting sounds great, too. I have a question for people who have already played this, though; when should I do the DLC case? I've heard you have to complete the first episode before you can play it, but should I do it immediately afterwards? Right before the final episode? Or sometime else?

If you want to play chronologically, you must play Case 1 - Case 2 - DLC Case - Case 4 and Last Case :3

Totally agree. She's an adorable character who could be even more awesome if she actually got more playable cases and professional fulfillment. I really don't want her to remain as the comic relief (a _great_ comic relief, but she's got potential for more because, unlike the other assistants in the franchise, she's a lawyer). It saddens me what they did to her in Spirit of Justice. Granted, they wanted to focus on Phoenix and Apollo, but still...

IIRC, Godot became a prosecutor just to take down Phoenix Wright, and after Trials and Tribulations he neither needs nor wants to keep doing that anymore. He probably surrendered his badge after that game. Blackquill, on the other hand, was working as a prosecutor before his conviction, so I assume he wanted to do the job for longer. There may be things he knows or could deduce to find other criminals, too.

That would explain the mature rating by esrb. It's actually the first Phoenix Wright game to be rated mature. The rest are only rated as high as teen by esrb.:)))

Believe me when I say, if you think you've seen the reason for the M rating from this trailer, then you haven't. You'll see the reason in the final episode of the game, is all I'll say.

***** What in the world are you talking about? I'm not referring to "the moment near the end". I'm referring to the entire premise of the first trial day in the final episode. What a certain "prosecutor" points out that a "certain person of dubious age" tried to do to "something", and when we see a "certain person's" flashback that shows "a certain someone" covered from head to toe in "something" while giving the player a "certain look" like they're about to go on a freaking killing spree. Not to mention the fact that themes of terrorism are constant (not spoilers because it's kinda obvious they're bombings from the trailer). Also, the game is bloody. Very so, in a lot of places. I was surprised at how much they jumped up the ladder in terms of dark content in this compared to the others.

In the English version they are American, so why would the original Japanese version have any effect whatsoever on the English voice acting? And shouldn't he have a Japanese accent by your logic? Sheesh. Anyways, Edgeworth lived in LA until age 8, then Germany from age 8-20 so if anything he should have a German accent... doesn't make sense to me either but oh well. xD

That had very little to do with my point - the only way this game will PROVE it's worth it's translation to other languages will be by making a profit...since Capcom aren't positive it can do so currently, it's hedged it's bets until they have better figures to work with. BOYCOTTING the game entirely will cut out it's potential of ever getting the translations you want - only by having high sales can it achieve any of the goals being discussed here.

Not buying it will result in the loss of the franchise in the west...it's a nice sentiment to be concerned, but the problem is choosing between proving the sales exist for the series in the west, and boycotting a series on the verge of being discontinued because of points raised... That's a pretty horrendous choice for anyone to make - the better 'choice' is to hope the sales of the title prove that there's money to be MADE by their supporting the series FULLY, should it be profitable overall!
