The kangaroo question I loved and how appropriate for her to be asked that question, considering where you live...I grew up in the country and worked in the city and saw kangaroos everyday so for some Aussies it is an everyday occurrence seeing them.

I also live in Melbourne, and while I no there's no kangaroos wandering around the middle of the city there would be in many of the outer suburbs of Melbourne. It's still technically Melbourne, the outer suburbs reach for ages.

I grew up in the country, in Queensland Australia. I actually had a pet kangaroo as a kid. It was a Joey my dad rescued who's mother was hit by a truck. I still live telling foreigners and city dwellers about it. Australia rocks!

It's true. I know Vicki and live near her. We are 25 kms from Melb and have heaps of Kangaroos all around. You have to be careful not to hit them in your car at night as they jump on the road. My husband collided chest to chest with one which was bounding in the back paddock. I don't know who got more of a fright!

Last night I dreamed that Ellen was my mother...it was wonderful

If someone didn't tell Qantas or planning ahead of time that Ellen is calling, you'll be put on hold for at least 45 minutes to an hour before someone answer the call. No ordinary caller can get through in seconds.
