I think I could understand rocket science if you did a KZfaq video on it! Can't fault this explanation, you've made it so easy to understand 🙏 Pleaaasee make a video on oversampling, that's another thing boggling my brain!

Hi Jordan! Quick question! If i have a 24mm on an apc camera. What focal length do i need to use to achieve the same field of view on a full frame? I am confused. Would i need a 14mm or a 35mm?

Hey Jon! You'd need a 35mm lens to match. The best way to calculate it is by multiplying the crop factor by the focal length of the lens used, so 24 x 1.5 = 36. Alternatively if you work backwards, and are told you need every camera to have a 35mm equivalent, you can divide. So for instance, if you had a M43 camera, that would need to be an 17/18mm lens (35 ÷ 2 = 17.5) Hope this helps 👍
