Doing drugs does not mean you are abusive... What is this lawyer trying to prove???? Drug users can be abusive but not every drug user is abusive

So what I've learned from this trial so far is: Johnny does drugs, drinks alcohol and had an awful childhood, while Amber is extremely abusive - both mentally and physically. Also living with someone and having that person take pics whenever you've had a fall/dark times - which we all have sometimes - is a huge red flag. The only reason they'd ever need these photos is to shame you, guilt you into doing what they want or expose you for some sort of gain. Ew

This makes Johnny so relatable it's unbelievable how the lawyer thought it was 1953 and everyone would freak out about drugs.

Being an addict my self, I couldn’t stand the way her lawyer was trying to portray him as a bad person just for being an addict. It’s hard enough being an addict without people’s perceptions of us all being bad people.

Addicts in most cases are tormented souls looking for some peace in a world of pain. Not bad people! JD is one of them. Support, love and understanding is what these people need.

I really admire how Johnny doesn't deny or even act uncomfortable speaking about the role drugs has had in his life. He is honest and owns it.

I really feel Johnny's pain and this Trial has helped me a lot to understand many things I'm going through, I've also been through drugs at an early age, alcoholic father, and much more... As of today, I'm raising my 4 year old daughter by myself, her mom is way too similar to Amber, same behavior, same mindset, same everything... My family and I, pressed charges 5 times in 4 years, and still waiting for a Trial. Johnny, my highest respect to you, I hope that after you win this trial you can find yourself again and heal all the pain that she did to you.

What I find Disturbing is that she was documenting this stuff, building a narrative & planning his demise long before he caught on and took note

Using someone's struggles with mental health and ensuing addiction against them to frame them, especially someone you claimed to love and care about, is just plain evil.

I just want to hug Johnny Depp. He is a bloody talented actor and creative artist with his art and music. Despite a very tough childhood he has made a huge success of his life. He is enough. I wish he could find peace so he doesn't need to do drugs anymore. He has so much to give. I respect and admire him so very very much. I wish him every happiness and that he can rise above this. I have been in a similar situation and I have never been the same since.

Even with his history of drug use, it’s amazing the self control he had throughout his time with heard to not resort to violence like heard obviously hoped for since she recorded everything. For him to have self control during all those altercations with Heard. He never laid a finger on her. For her to record all the altercations that she started, she only hoped that Depp would lay a finger on her. She’s evil. She deserves all the karma that’s going to come back her way. She was going for his pockets from the very beginning.

I'm liking Johnny Depp more and more as I continue to watch this trial...his unabashed honesty and straightforward ownership of his lifestyle and actions speak volumes about his character. Rich or famous...he is human and comfortable in his skin. They work to chip away at his integrity and his truthfulness...but he explains everything in the most simple terms...without worming or weaseling to conceal anything. I find this far more trustworthy and honest.

The only question in this trial is: was what Amber said in her article true? And if not, did it directly cause damage to Johnny’s career? Seems to me the answers are “no” and “yes.” I’m not sure what his weed and Coke habits have to do with it.

While this probably seemed invasive and daunting to Depp in the beginning, talking, reliving, revealing his deepest darkest most painful moments. I feel like it was probably very therapeutic and a huge weight lifted off him. Every addict wants to be this open about their troubles but at the same time no addict wants to pour out their emotions on to anyone specifically. He's forced to tell his story, where he would usually feel like a burden sharing these details on his own he gets to share his story wide, everyone now understands his struggle, he avoids the guilt of unloading his hardships on a given individual. He doesn't want to deal with it let alone make it someone else's concern. While this whole thing has been a headache for him it has also made his loved ones and us nobody's that much more understanding of his actions.

At the end he never denied of his addiction so her lawyer can’t bring him down. We’re with you Johnny!!!

I find Mr. Depp to be very honest, credible and believable. He's been honest about his drug use. I believe him. Also, all his ex women friends or wives say he was never aggressive.

I do cocaine and am an alcoholic and I help disabled children as my full time job doesn’t mean I’m a bad person. In fact the school loves me and puts me with the hardest cases because I help improve some of these kids lives and performance to the best of their abilities
