Picot Bind Off Step-by-Step
A Picot Bind Off is a wonderful way to finish a shawl edge. It's decorative and also very stretchy. And it's easy to work:
1. Set-up row: Bind off 1 or 2 stitches.
2. Step 1: Slip the last bound off stitch back the left needle, purlwise.
3. Step 2: Cast on 2 stitches using the knit cast on method.
4. Step 3: Bind off the 2 cast on stitches. (This forms one picot.)
5. Step 4: Bind off 3 stitches.
6. Repeats Steps 1-4 until you've bound off all your stitches.
