He gets one song but he plays the character with so much depth He’s understated, weary, malicious, justified, and relatable Also I think his voice is sexy

Andrey is probably really difficult to pull off because you only get 3 minutes of actual stage time but still have to portray immense heartbreak, weariness and coldness Also the last part is correct

I genuinely believe this to be one of the most gorgeously composed songs in the musical. The melody is so poignant, so unpredictable. You really can't guess where the next piece of music is going to go. Beautiful

I saw the Austrian production of the show live earlier this year and this was honestly the song that surprised me the most - Whenever I listened to the album or watched recordings, I found it to be pretty skippable compared to most of the other songs, but live it really hit different. Probably also because the Andrey I saw was INCREDIBLE, as was the Pierre

I’ve realized that one of the things occurring to Andrey is that in coming back from war, which is a traumatic loss of innocence he probably can’t help but feel defeated at the fact that his father, a cruel and bitter man, might have been righteously so and right about Natasha.
