Cardin was my Mom’s favourite designer, as a Tunisian watching this video I’m amazed to see how much Pierre Cardin have been able to have such a huge impact around the world, from Tunisia to Japan, going through China and the USSR. He was just everywhere and really took part in deep relationships, even created the blueprint of the fashion industry in some of these countries All the more so as he was just a great couturier, one of the last ones, we owe him the boxy shoulders used by Balmain’s nowadays. And he was the first to license so much Also Id like to add something interesting, actually Cardin was the first to make Ready To Wear collections, he even was the first to release menswear collection under his own name. Also the first to work and talk with Japan on fashion terms Really one of my biggest inspiration in the fashion world and in general. I’m glad to learn his work with the USSR it just gives me a greater opinion about him Thank you for this very informative video, I’m always enjoying to learn many things and you do a great job with your videos keep going like that 🔥
