I am in the process of buying one of these. What type of paint did you use on the rudder cap, and what type of paint for the nose wheel fork. Thank you.

I used (after proper cleaning) acid etching primer and rattle can white, get a good paint, you could even get spray 2-part urethane in a can to use.

What portion of this work must be completed by a mechanic VS. owner?

The owner can pimp and polish, but the mechanic will have to the exhaust stuff.

N26255 and N706LG the airplane you fixed are different airplane

26255 Is the plane in all of our intros now and been so for awhile. 706LG is the pimped up video subject plane.
