In this video Brad adds some Still Spirits Pina Colada essence and cream base pack to a batch of Skulls light lager. Does he end up sipping on sunshine or pouring it down the drain?

Hey Brad, very fun video. I would love to see you dial this in and see what kind of grain bill would give you the right body for this.

Really love the concept of using the spirit essence. Would love to see if you could do a chocolate, coffee mocha style milk stout? Cheers 🍻

I sorta binged most of your vids....cause y'all look like you do this to have fun! As I'm not from Canada, I'm guessing shipping to the States would be outrageous....

Hi, we opened up shipping to the USA a couple weeks ago. Since our dollar is worth roughly %25 less than USD and some homebrewing ingredients and supplies seem to sell for less in Canada than they do in the USA our customers said that offset the shipping cost. You can change to USD on our website now so you shop in USD instead of CAD. Add items to your cart and it will give you shipping quotes. Cheers!

A blonde ale I think would be a good option to try. Flaked rye is another option for adding body. It doesn't give any spicy characteristics that many people get from using rye or rye related products. Got that idea from Adam makes beer KZfaq channel. Tried that in one of my homebrews and it works. For a light ABV style I'd go with 4 or 5 percent of the grist to give it some extra mouthfeel. Just a suggestion from a fellow homebrewer.

I'll have to try rye flakes. Rye malt adds a notable spiciness so I'm curios how the flakes compare. Cheers!

Wheat ale to get some of that creaminess and back off on the lactose maybe? Either way I'm intrigued to maybe try brewing one myself.

Lol, we actually carry that one in the homebrew shop, and I totally forgot that it exists. I'm going to do a 2nd version of mine, and we'll try both side by side.

Question. Are most IPA similar. I had a slemeens port IPA. Had 2 out of the 3 that came in my sampler. Something about it I do not like. Liked their cream ale, honey brown and the other ale but not the ipa. Just trying to find the styles I like so u can try brewing the different styles

I would definitely recommend trying an IPA from a different brewery. Are there any craft breweries near you?
@graintoglass

I can honestly say I've never heard of the Sleemans Pier Point IPA. I would guess it tastes nothing like the other 2 styles you mentioned, as IPA is quite a different style. I wouldn't let it sour you on IPAs though. The macro brewery ones tend to be very lackluster. If you let me know where you're at, I can maybe recommend some good ones.
