Frank- “Your license is suspended, you have no insurance, your registration is expired, you’re 30 miles per hour over the speed limit, your license plate is flapping in the breeze, you’re not wearing your seat belt, you’re high as a kite, you have drugs in the car, and you have a warrant.” Idiot- “so why are you arresting me?” Frank- “*sigh*”

As a former UK police constable I cannot help but think we have an easier justice system: if you do not have insurance for the car that you are driving it is seized and (more often than not) crushed. Insurance companies require you to have a valid driving licence, if you do not have a licence - you do not have insurance and your car is seized and (definitely) crushed. If it is not your car and you stole it, you get charged theft, no licence and no insurance. If someone let you use their car - you get the charges, the car gets seized / crushed and the owner gets a charge of 'permitting'. Admittedly we have a legal system that is not political, the only people who can legally interfere with a court action is the Home Secretary or the Prime Minister and they mostly deal with pardons. Our judges and magistrates are not part of a popularity contest or an election campaign. It is not perfect, of course not, but it seems to work better than a system that allows killers to offend multiple time having been caught. A very good UK judge made a comment that building prisons creates jobs, staffing prisons creates careers, filling prisons saves lives ...

Hammer that guy! Like you always say Frank, “Tickets change behaviour.” Maybe after this encounter with you, he’ll say, “enough is enough” and adjust his behaviour model accordingly. To be honest and fair, I’m not a fan of police officers all the time but I’m definitely a fan of yours sir. Keep fighting the good fight my brother, you’re one of the good ones.

I love how the video ends with a shot of the car being pulled onto a flat bed. The editing is *chefs kiss*
