Colours Of Infinity wasn't actually Pink Floyd. It was music David Gilmour wrote and performed as part of a documentary on fractals. There was something in the vicinity of 15-20 parts. This definitely a rarity and something I would love to see David release on an immersion style box set for his career. This part is clearly rooted in SOYCD part 6. Love these types of lost gems. Thanks for posting!

Yes: A PBS NOVA explaining Benoit Mandelbrot's 'The Mandelbrot Set' and Davids extraordinary music in Arthur C Clarke's "Fractals : The Colors Of Infinity." As I recall PBS aired these NOVA episodes during there fundraising event. I, having a home recording studio, recorded the music on a Phillips CD-R and have enjoyed the music for years.

David Gilmour performing live. This genre with Pink Floyd's team of visual and staging. Seriously. It's all about connecting. I'm in touch with a guy in Barcelona that could make it happen, but he wouldn't come cheap.

Sounds a bit like the song 'Return to Tunguska' that Gilmour played on for Alan Parsons. Or like the title song 'Obscured by Clouds'. The live version of the song ObyC is excellent, partly due to Richard Wright's unleashed synth play. Both albums, Obscured by Clouds & More, along with Division Bell (not Momentary Lapse of Reason) are major parts of the Pink Floyd legacy and ethos to people who are fans of PF beyond their radio songs.
