Cool presentation. I like how you have clear pictures of each section, and how you have the arrows pointing to what you're talking about. I purchased an DDJ-SX2 about a year ago (brand new for about $300), and I've been so busy composing orchestral music, I haven't had enough time to really experiment, and learn how to use it properly. But now I'm dedicating some time each week. Are you doing a video series?

Thank you! I'm glad you liked the video! This is the only video I have on the SX2, but yes I do plan on making some more videos on the SX2. Maybe some actual footage of me performing on it! Also, wow thats a good deal on that SX2!!! Unfortunately I paid quadruple that when it first came out

Brian! Thank so much man, I just found you through a blog. My question to you is, for my SX2, Which program is best to start mixing.... Serato pro? ReKordbox? And whats the cost? I just want to get my music up and then really spend time familiarizing myself with my board. I was one of those guys who has thousands of CDs and spend way to long burning them down to my computer for filing. But alas I have them. So I want to get them up and mixing. I am grateful for your expertise! I found you off Google... Grate blog! Will Follow!

Could you do a video on how the browse button on the controller works loading the tracks to each deck, I seem to be having a problem ?

Gerald Jefferson absolutely! I wish I would have seen this comment earlier before the ceremony I just performed because I could Have recorded a video for you! Your knob on the top-center of the controller helps you to scroll through your Serato Library. When you push it, it will take you to a different folder or section. When you find your song, load it to buttons deck A or Deck B

How do you take a sample from a existing song and take a sniper of it

You're going to need a program that you can drag audio files to such as Logic pro x, ableton live, or almost any DAW program... I'm sure if you google search how to take clips of audio from a song for free, there might be a solution for ya!
