Many ,many years ago Perique was used, and was. Replaced by the burley. I miss the Perique from about 40 years ago. God Bless!

If its available, grab some newminster superior round slices. Though I havent been smoking them as long as roll cake, I would probably put them over roll cake in preference.

Hello. Question tobacco quality and smoothness, how happy you are with rolling tobacco compared to regular ready light cigarettes? Which one is the cleanest (less tar), lightest and smoothest one? TY

I like this blend along. I get a slite molasses taste also.

Sounds like a good blend. Curious if you have tried the Savinelli Debone di Oro. It is a spun cut Virginia/Dark fired blend made for Savinelli by Mac Baren. It is a blend that has a nice smokey savory flavor. If you haven't tried it, it may be worth a try. It is pretty readily avaliable.

I actually have not had this one, but I wonder if it is close to the famous MacBaren Scottish Mixture, a blend that is also better sipped. Sounds like the same components in both blends.

I had a sample of Scottish mixture but it wasnt much and it was quite awhile ago so I wouldnt be much help there.

The spice you mentiobed is more of a "white Burley" spice than Kentucky one Plus, the "Macbaren Cavendish" is not Kentucky made, it is mostly Virginia s that are cooked in some certain secret way😅 Thx for your almost always nice contents😍😍🙏🏻
