Very nicely completed review. Always interesting when someone spends time explaining their taste and strength of any blend. This is a blend I must try. Kentucky cavendish sounds very intriguing. I hope you continue your reviews. ✝️

Very nice review! I really love Dark Twist, it's slowly becoming one of my favorites. The thing that I love about that maple topping is that it alternates throughout the smoke, especially in a larger bowl pipe. Sometimes it's just a hint, sometimes it takes center stage. It's a pretty spicy blend and that Kentucky gives it an almost cigar-ish type of earthiness and dryness, perfectly balanced with the sweetness from the Virginia. And those coins are so easy to rub out. Amazing blend altogether. P.S.: I've always felt that maple topping goes perfectly with Kentucky. Maple and rum make a perfect marriage with Kentucky. Cool and relaxing smokes to you!

@@TheSpurgeonPiper I’ve been a piper for about 15 years. I rested in English and Balkan blends for the last 8. Recently I have found enjoyment oddly in good lite handed aromatics. I recommend Mac B vanilla role cake. Just a quick shout out

I'm sorry about that, buddy... Then again, take this as an example. While I'm no longer living in Romania, over there you cannot find anything that has to do with Mac Baren. So no Mac Baren, no Amphora, no Capstan, no Three Nuns, nothing!

I wouldn't say one is truly sweeter but Dark Twist does have a more prevalent topping.
