I saw a SeaBee. Try to get a ride in that one and take along a fishing pole. One of my early flights in a Cherokee involved a quick gust of wind at about 15 feet above the runway. It pitched us over at least 30 degrees and required quick action. I landed a fraction of a second after making the wings level and the instructor said, "Good save!" I told him, "SOMEBODY had to do it."

Just took my third hour flight training today in one of these and my landing was relatively smooth but kind of wobbly on the way in from a little bit of wind and my getting used to the plane and controls

Die Piper Cherokke ist nach den Cherokke Idinans(Indianer) benannt die leider durch die amerikanschen Siedler ausgestorben sind. Das markante an der Cherokee ist der typische Lycoming Boxermotor und sein unvergleichlicher typischer Boxersound. Die Radabdeckungen(Schuhe), den Flügeln und natürlich dem ganzen Design.

Power on landing 1500' down the runway? Your landing roll should be over where you're touching down.

You should not get flap when your aircraft is not level, to prevent asymmetric flap, as you know the flap mechanism of PA-28 is not electrical, it's mechanical, :)

engaging flap in the turn is a no go, having full flap deployed and then chasing airspeed with power is far from ideal, suggest a conversation with a friendly CFI

I am not very good at maths do you need to be very good at maths to be a pilot?

hi theweird one, you do not have to be a nuclear physicist to become a pilot! as long as you have a basic understanding of algebra, formulas and good mental arithmetic skills you should be fine. I was rubbish at math in school but took it upon myself to learn everything about it because I wanted to become a pilot. you will be taught how to do the math whilst in flight school so you'll be ok mate

@@theweirdone5531 I am going through what is called the modular route. I got a private pilots licence at the moment, working towards getting a commercial one. This way, if you do not have the money upfront (as flight training is very expensive!) You can work alongside doing your flight training to pay for it. As long as you have determination, you'll get there. I got my licence from a school based out of elstree aerodrome and it took just over 13 months
