I'll admit the music was pretty close to the greatness of the original trilogy despite not being made by Hans Zimmer. I know Hans Zimmer made the music for the 4th movie but it wasn't too special in my opinion. I also think that the bank robbery escape was pretty reminiscent of the craziness of the original trilogy. I just dont like how Jack was dumbed down in this movie and how there was not enough depth given to Salazar (although in terms of looks, I think he my favorite just behind Davy Jones)

lola boots What are you talking about? I loved this 5th entry in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. The original first 3 will always be the best but this one was a fun and action packed new entry in the series. One of the things that stood out for me the most was that it actually explored details of the origins of Jack Sparrow and how he became Captain and the most well known pirate in the Caribbean. And I like how Jack Sparrow’s character ark comes full circle in the end. This movie had one of the most satisfying endings since The original first three films. Say what you will about this movie but I still loved it nonetheless

​@@sammontanez6908 This movie destroyed jack sparrow, you said it "explored details of the origins of Jack Sparrow", in the movie he gets the compass from his captain but before, in the second movie it says that tia dalma gave him the compass. So, the writers didnt watch the movies or what?. And the what ark of Jack Sparrow what it supposed to be? a drunk, a loser, someone who gets saved thanks to luck, a fool? Jack Sparrow its not like that, the only thing he was thinking throught the entire film was to get drunk. Everytime he said a word he was destroying himself, it was the first time that i wanted to see the others characters (like Henry and Carina, witch i thought they were very well write it) and not Jack. Really where was the smart, cunning, and charismatic Jack that we saw on the others movies, the one that had always a plan? its gone, now its just a drunk fool. In my conclucion the writers were SHIT, they destroyed Jack Sparrow. So for my its going to be the 4 movies and not the 5.

@@ludmilamanni8980 I agree with you although the storyline and new characters were good, they weren't in comparison to the earlier movies and they destroyed Captain Jack's personality. He was a pirate who used to do things which had a motive that no one else could understand. He used to act stupid but his decisions and actions came out to surprise everyone. In the last two movies they made him just a useless drunk pirate who is trying to run away and is alive due to his luck. Thats not how Captain Jack was when I saw him during the Curse of the Black Pearl. And the worst thing he is not going to be in the next movie. I never thought that POTC would disappoint me so much. I aint gonna watch 6th installment without Captain Jack Sparrow.
