J M they used lots of practical effects for all of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, well not as much in the 5th. They built those ships and practical sets

That’s the beauty of Utah. Almost every landscape you can think of, exists in this beautiful state I call home. The flats are fascinating, to say the least. 🙂

The Crait scenes were actually filmed on a salt flat in Bolivia. This movie was filmed on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah

Actually the video from that song was filmed in " Salar de Uyuni" (which means Uyuni's Salt Flats), located in Bolivia. The same place where they filmed Star Wars: The Last Jedi 🙂

It took me 10 years to understand, but, when Jacks holds it in is hands, its was not perfectly vertical, and when he throwed it to the left and then it goes back to the right ( out frame) it just went to its vertical static position and stayed still, so that's why we couldn"t see it anymore. Did I made myself clear ? ^^
