Kirk, I did improve with this system. I hit a 5 iron from 160yds. and it was truly a thing of beauty. Never felt the club strike the ball, "click". And dead straight. Other shots were not so sweet, but that shot gave me hope that the shot is there. I just need to coax it out with more practice.

Great videos. I know you mostly like the straight ball, me too, but what do you do to shape a shot? Change the grip for a fade or draw? Thanks for the tremendous teaching!

I just setup for the shot I want to hit. So for a draw aim a bit to the right and close the clubface slightly. Then swing in the direction you are aimed. The opposite for a fade.

Kirk, do you use the same lie angle for your wedges and your irons?

Lie angles get more upright as the clubs get shorter.

What is the different between your plan and Moe’s plan?

Moe does not have a plan any longer as he passed away around 15 years ago. Those trying to teach people to swing exactly like he did are very unsuccessful at it because they try to copy every move Moe made. I have found that by customizing the swing to fit each individual people improve quickly. Nobody has every successfully copied Moe. Otherwise they would be on tour.

I seem to hit the ground before I hit the ball. I am just practicing short swings trying to get the feel for this.

Setup on your impact plane, and customize the grip so that the clubface is square through impact. This will fix the plane. No tools required. My learning program makes it easier. setup4impact.com

I am a left handed golfer and many times this year my 9 iron, pitching wedge, gap wedge and sand wedge all go right when aiming at the flag. Are my hands too high? I play the ball in the middle of my stance.

Try strengthening your trail hand grip slightly Rick, worked for me. Do t know about to high though. I'm no expert.

Hi Rick, Check your aim to make sure you are set up parallel to the target line and not open. Then if you are setup correctly then for you to hit it to the right as a lefty you would likely be releasing early meaning the clubhead is passing your hands through impact which closes the clubface.

Don't worry about it John!! Other golf instructors are not happy that I share so much information for free. They like to tease people and hope that they buy their program for $100s. So when they see my videos offering my teaching for free they hit the thumbs down. I chose to make money from the ads running on the videos rather than trying to get everyone to buy my system. I charge for support and feedback on my website and of course schools and lessons.

@@Setup4Impact - I think some people do it by accident. when you're using a mouse or finger to scroll up and down, it's easy to click on something without even noticing. I've done it plenty. If you have tens of thousands viewing, chances are, someone's going to click the wrong thing by accident.

I go to a local pitch and putt. The longest hole is 85 yards, but, with the elevation it is probably about 110. Would I use the same concept you are showing for each hole.
