Duke's eyes show so much gentleness almost makes me cry

The way he looks back at the chickies as he slowly makes his way into the house at bedtime...adorable❤!

Watching him slooow walk out of the garage while glancing back and looking at you in disbelief that you were making him come in and leaving them alone unprotected had me laughing.

Chicks are darling. They are so tiny and fluffy and make the cutest little chirping noises. They don’t walk, they hop. When we had our chicks we kept them inside a utility room where they could be kept warm. Every morning hours before school I would get up and go sit in there with them on the floor. They would end up in my lap where they felt warm and connected to someone. I guess they somewhat imprinted on me because when they were grown I was the only one who they allowed to pick them up. It ended up being two hens and a giant rooster. They would come on I called their names and were very sociable and personable. They were smart and affectionate. Pitbulls are loving and affectionate and I think The pitties connection to the chicks and wanting to protect them and be with them Shows what a huge heart this pitbull has and how wonderful they can be around children and other pets❤

So much time has passed.. what a lovely reunion! ❤
