I didn't really think people would watch more than 1 of the mosaics. That would take hours...Just pick a mosaic you think you'd like to see, right before you want to fall asleep, lol. Though the one labeled "Bonus Footage" has some additional shots of the machine.

Correct! It could have gone longer using slow rails. I settled on a 14 second loop because it was a good balance between setting the record and telling the story. It was also time-consuming to babysit each mosaic to ensure marbles rolled into the right place. So after the first few mosaics, I shortened the track loop to 8 seconds for the remaining mosaics. If anyone wants to break the record, I think they will need to use a similar mechanism, so I’m satisfied with the record. Thanks for watching! 🤠

Are you looking to get more pieces to build bigger, or more unique action elements? Either way, check out my video on Gravisheet (search with a hashtag in front of the word GraviSheet) for a free tool that will allow you to quickly compare the contents of all GraviTrax sets. You can find which next set gives you the parts you’re looking to add. GraviSheet has links to unboxings of each set. There are also some FAQs/Guides on the GraviTrax Fans group on Facebook that explain the 3 GraviTrax lines and how to expand. Lots of helpful posts in the group as well. Most adults and older kids add on to the Core starter set with the Vertical PRO starter set, although there are now the POWER line of starter sets. I also have a series of videos called Set vs. Set where I compare the contents of various starter sets against one another visually. I do not recommend the Trax or Building expansions….it’s more cost effective to buy another starter set. Lastly, you can use GraviSheet to put together a hypothetical inventory (say if you just buy a 2nd starter set you would just enter qty 2 next to the starter set on the “Sets You Own” tab.) Then you can go to the “Courses to Build” tab and see how many of the user-designed courses that will let you build. Then compare that with another scenario if you were to buy a different one of the starter sets.

Thanks for watching! 🤠 Guinness only verifies records for a hefty fee, and they have to be convinced that there is existing competition in the field. When I wrote to them, they weren't interested in doing the work necessary to watch other GraviTrax videos to establish that there is existing competition for the longest GraviTrax track. That is why the only existing "longest marble run" records that Guinness currently has are for Lego (great ball contraptions), K'nex, and then there's an overall generic "longest marble run" where a village in Switzerland rolled a marble down a mountain on a track. However, Guinness' criteria of existing competition is only an excuse. They hand out records all the time where there is no real competiton, like the most Grand Royales in Fortnite using a mouth-operated joystick, or the most drumbeats per minute using a prosthetic drumstick, or hanging the most spoons off a human body. But I think the fallacy here is assuming that Guinness is the authority for establishing world records. Who made them the record verification authority? They are only a self-proclaimed authority. Truth is, a record is a record, with or without Guinness' acknowledgement. The proof of the record mentioned in this video is found in a separate 2 hour video linked in the description. Anyone can watch and verify the record if they choose. I hope someone breaks the record soon. Ravensburger has released a new GraviTrax element in Europe called the Releaser, which is essentially a small version of what I built in this video. So it is entirely within reach for someone to break this record.
