What blows my mind is how people like that could believe their friendship with each other could possibly be genuine. They are psychopaths. *Obviously* they were going to betray each other as soon as they were caught. They don't care about each other. Their relationship is purely pragmatic. They each hang out with the other because it's a person with similar predilections who can help them achieve their goals, for the time being. As soon as one stops being useful to the other, or becomes a liability, they might very well become a victim themself. It blows my mind how they'd be interacting so amicably with each other on tape, despite the intrinsically conditional and therefore precarious nature of their 'friendship'. I've noticed this behaviour with multiple violently psychopathic duos. I don't know if it's consciously a mere performance on the part of both, or if they're legitimately too stvpid to understand the true nature of their relationship.

Sure the guy was depressed and had mental illnesses, but BLAMED his wife for problems she couldn't control. She loved and adored him with all of her heart and he heartlessly saw her as a problem and a mistake. He was the mistake. Ok, but what you fail to understand is that every person, assuming they dont suffer from any form of birth mental illness or defect, such as Psychopaths, is a captive of their own unique and independently acquired physiology ( mindset ) our individual physiology is obtained via our every life experience starting at birth up to the age of 26, at which age the human brain has finished developing. From the age of 26, we all are the person we will be for the rest of our lives barring the likes of a serious head injury. So you see the man you are blaming was also merely a victim of his OWN unique physiology! We all have no so-called choice over who we are, we are who we are because so-called choices are an illusion and are entirely dependent upon our individual physiology at the time we make our so-called choices.

You forgot to include so many details about Tara Calico case. Many witnesses said that they saw a white van following Tara and a man - who was a red hair and looked just like police chief's son was looking at Tara innapropretially and just like hipnotized. same thing said few people who never mey before and didn't heard what each said cus interviews took on different days in private rooms. The lead person that was investigating the case was ironically the Chief. Also many evidence were mysteriously gone. But sadly for Tara, the dude accidentally shot himself when he was playing russian rulette with his friend. Everyone strongly believe it was him. Kinda obvious when evidence disssapear, people that were supposed to be called for this case were never called and no one investigated chief's son even tho witnesses said to do so. Poor Tara, will never be burried or her family ever get closure.

Just saw a Dateline. I forget the case. But a cops' son is the main suspect in a murder, of the sons ex. And the cops treat the son like a witness. Didn't grill him. Stains in his car trunk turned out "inconclusive" for blood. Fbi stepped in, grilled the son, tested the stain thoroughly. It was the girlfriends blood. Wouldn't doubt those small town cops tried to cover it up. But yeah finally arrested the mf like 6 yrs later.

People like their dog because it doesn't talk back, they are the dog's total master, they don't judge moral or character flaws, are totally dependent and obedient to you, etc. It's actually a pretty sick dynamic, if that's what someone wants to make their life and relationships. In healthy settings a dog can be a great compliment, we've had a beneficial symbiotic relationship with domesticated dogs for many years now. It's a give and take. Most dogs were required to contribute something, anything. Dogs could expect to be well fed and protected. It's pretty cool to be friends with badass humans who seemingly can do anything. Only recently did "designer" dogs become a thing. Perpetual infants whom are purposefully untrained and neurotic

I don’t normally leave comments on videos like this but wow this scared me. All of these cases are equally terrible for different reasons, it just adds layers of fear when the killers know their victims beforehand and there is trust between them. Like when Draper and Adamcik made videos with Cassie and talked about her being their friend on camera right before they killed her. And Tara’s case is terrible too! Knowing that her and her mother have done that millions of times is so scary to know that that specific bike trip took her daughter away. And the editing on your part with her picture and the “Tara is missing” repeated so many times is chilling, kind of representing how reality is sinking into the mother and how her daughter is gone; giving her panic on the fact that she was taken right from behind her. It definitely adds to the horror of the case. Not to mention the added audio for the toy-box killer which is just horrible on its own, but having the picture of David, who looks like an unassuming man, next to the horrors he said to multiple women is truly spine chilling. And the video tape with Brenda knowing that she was Leonard’s neighbor is terrifying, especially when he talks about her baby. You can hear the break in her voice when she says “That’s my baby.” And the picture of Samantha is also frightening. Knowing that she was dead and he didn’t take the picture while she was alive like I originally thought he did is even more terrifying. When you said that was a police recreation and that the original photo was never released really put shivers down my spine; cementing the fact that the corpse of a woman was used for money. Peter Keller’s video was also horrific, the way he nonchalantly talked about his wife and child not being a problem anymore is extremely scary since it is confirmed that he killed them. Great work on this video, like wow. This is the best love-hate relationship with dark stuff like this, it’s so intriguing to see what a killer thinks on their crimes but I’m probably not gonna sleep for a week now :’)

Police redacted their belief that Michael Henley was the boy in the photo with the woman believed to be Tara. He was found deceased in 1990 and it was believed he was abducted and k*lled by the same person responsible for Tara's disappearance, but a re-examination of the Michael Henley case a decade later determined that his death was likely caused by hypothermia, and there were no signs of foul play. The theory now is that Michael Henley had gotten lost after being separated from his father at the campsite and died by the elements. However, since police have ruled out that the boy in the photo is Michael Henley, no one to this day knows who the boy in the photo might be. No one in the missing children database matched him, and no remains have ever been found. And the only reason anyone knows about the photo at all is because of its link to the Tara Calico case. Apparently no one has been looking for that boy, or if they were, the search hasn't been made public. Anyway, all of these are such sad and terrible cases. Truly evil people out there.

Yepp. Had he not lit that fire, he probably wouldn't have been found so quickly. But, it seemed even before they found the smoke, they were already putting clues together, and seemed to triangulate their theory around where he was. He had to have been near a small creek (water source), dense foresty area, and not TOO far from the town. Honestly, I think he wouldn't have been found for maaaaybe 1-2 more weeks, but, eventually he would have been found

If you are just going to retell a story then you owe it to the people who were a part of it to be honest and level with your telling. You do not get to dramatize aspects of these people’s suffering with an emotionally detached mocking of their lives. We ought to show respect to the people whose suffering we use for pleasure. Cassie and her boyfriend were not friends of theirs but they didn’t know that until they died. Shows you don’t know your “friends” like you think you do. These 2 are sick psychopaths!
