Very nice song starting at 6:46 , in which both Roy and Dale end up singing in unison and in harmony, .. and with excellent background vocals and music accompanying. It's a harmonious and happy-sounding song ("Yellow Rose of Texas") that is particularly well orchestrated, IMHO. There's also a bit of "drama" toward the beginning of the song, with Roy and Dale pantomiming. This movie was very well done, and it would probably have a better rating on IMDb -- if 15 minutes of it hadn't been butchered (i.e., "edited") from its original 69 minute length (for 1950s TV purposes). Dale sings beautifully in a couple of songs. Incidentally, this was only the 2nd pairing of Rogers and Evans in a movie. They had first met while filming another Roy Rogers about a month earlier. Thus, they were still "freshly met" (had only known each other for a short time, when this movie was being made). Overall, a very pleasant and enjoyable movie, .. especially with the musical numbers.
