Used to drive over Devils Slide every day to go to work, dangerous but the view is amazing, especially in the evening catching the sunset. The new tunnel is nice but there was something endearing about the old drive. I miss HMB

I've been to 100+ ocean beaches in US Half Moon Bay ranks #2...#1 for me is AVON NC in OBX...#3 cannon beach #4 Cape Cod #5 Seaside Heights NJ

@@gmar7836 IT WAS A GREAT PLACE TO RAISE A CHILD ..LIKE STEPPING BACK INTO THE 50'S AND 60 'S EASY , SAFE AND KIDS COULD ROAM ALL OVER AND SURF . DO ALL THE KIDS THINGS WITH NO CRIME . THAT HAS ALL CHANGED . STILL HAVE FRIENDS THERE ~~~SAD KIND OF IRKS ME .. STILL HAVE FAMILY IN CARMEL . BUT WE NEVER SEE THEM NOW.... BUMMER

@@gmar7836 YES,, BIG HOMELSS CAMP BEHIND STRAWFLOWER VILLAGE . WAS EVEN A SHOOTING ON OUR OLD STREET ..NEEDLES ON THE BEACH .. ALL THAT mess ... EVEN IN PACIFICA ALSO ...ROBBERIES .. I MEAN YUCK BOY HAS IT CHANGED

oh would not count on it i know one of the city counsel members and wow he is a bad guy truly terrible ,,he likes to look good on paper but is a real jerk otherwise ,only cares about his business and no one else ,,not cool
