Coonoor is a small hill station in Tamil Nadu, India. It is a very beautiful place to visit especially during the summer months. You will be astounded by the pristine green mountains and the rich blue skies that provides the perfect backdrop.
Best time to visit: Feb to April
Commute: By road (Mysore or Hosur - from Bangalore/Bengaluru) or by flight through Coimbatore
Best place to eat: Quality Restaurant, Bedford
Best tourist spot: Dolphin Point, Highfield Tea Estate
*Beware of passing Bisons after 6 pm ( Dont walk)
Things to remember: No plastic allowed. You don't even find Pepsi and Coke. So bring your own eco-friendly water bottles. They have water kiosks in most places.
