Plan with me homeschool FLVS - today I am doing my weekly goal setting for my kids homeschool FLVS classes.
FLVS is Florida Virtual School and as homeschoolers we can use FLVS Flex and can start any of the classes at any time through our county homeschool coordinator.
My FLVS Homeschool students use a $5 planner from the dollar general. Dollar general planner is just $5 and has been the perfect homeschool planner for us, expecially as a homeschool student planner.

Tje beauty about flex is that kids can do as much as they want n not need to be in order....if they love a class can do it in a couple of months, what in a normal school takes a year😊..... Do u have umbrella school? Just saying because r in highschool and some ppl say it is better for schollarship n appplications.

Pennsylvania is changing it's homeschool law. Starting next year, homeschool students will legally be permitted to attend classes at the public school for up to a certain number of hours (I think it is a quarter or third of the day), they will be permitted to participate in co curricular activities AND be permitted to attend Vo tech (vocational school within the district). Students who choose to do this will be required to register and be counted in public school numbers for funding. They will still need to meet homeschool legal requirements including beginning of the year form (it used to be a legal notarized affidavit, now the info can be sent in without notarization), objectives, end of the year evaluation and portfolio. Is this similar to Florida law? I have heard it is much easier to homeschool in Florida, so I was just a bit curious.

This sounds just like Florida’ homeschool laws. Our students get to dual enroll for free at the local state colleges

@@JustSewTrish That makes me feel better about the situation. Many in the local homeschool community are freaking out about this turning into government overreach.. I don't get that since homeschoolers would be using the school for classes, the school should receive funding to cover that. No free dual enrollment with colleges here yet. It is discounted, but not by much.
