ALEX Salmond gets my vote for plank. Discourteous and talks nonsense. His shaming of Rishi Sunak for mistakes of his predecessors only serves to highlight this. How can he defend the woke revision of Cinderella on the basis of panto licence? Or panty licence? Carry on up your Khyber Salmond and the SNP, your days are numbered.

Wow!! A year off..I worked through all my menopause in Australia! Hot sweats, restless and lack of sleep, flooding period and low iron...and I was through it by the time I retired, without a day off... nevermind a year with pay!!!! No wonder you have people flooding to UK in leaking boats for the rediculous gravey train there!!!

I made a comment that I really enjoyed last week's episode because everything was done in such an adult way and each of the panel were brilliant in their discourse. This week, my enjoyment was almost zero. I have to ask - why is Alex Salmond invited onto the POTW panel? If anything, HE is a plank, but with no time restriction!!

One of my friends is an OR nurse with a Cleveland Clinic hospital and they made her do hormone replacement therapy because she was sweating heavily at moments during surgeries while she was going through menopause. But she had to continue working if she wanted to maintain her job, there was no time off. (She could have quit, as her husband is a well known doctor, but she wanted to continue working as she loved it, and those were the demands of her employer, instead of giving her a leave of absence. Disgraceful.

How many years of paid absence should she get for menopause? Do they just open a box and pull out another surgeon & return him when she's ticketyboo? I'm sure you're aware or should be, that menopause is not usually something that passes in a matter of weeks or months.

Unrealistic patients ?? Well blow me , you mean they don’t want to wait in an ambulance for 12 hours and want a bed ? But have to watch staff dancing the jig in the corridor ? I can’t believe nurses , doctors and consultants couldn’t hack it when the going gets tough , you wouldn’t join the army and expect not to go to war 😡 I bet you stand outside the hospital you work in and bleat about pay rises ? But can afford to go on strike though 😮

Mismanagement of funds, ludicrous salaries being paid to top heavy ineffective management. I,e their top executive was paid over £500,000 + bonuses, endemic corruption, The original budget was £44.6 billion, that is now expected to be £100 billion at least for a half finished railway which of course defeats the object of building it in the first place. It's a cash cow for all those involved. It's not the workers but the management that is at fault. An Inquiry should be launched to ascertain why this publicly funded project has achieved so very little at such a huge cost.

HS2 - Because politicians have advisors that don't know what they're talking about and they allow contracting companies charge 20 time what a job actually costs, then have the scope of work is not priced in the job. One thing is for sure, the pay given to HS2 management was beyond reasonable and entered the fat cat category for a normal job, and stupid bonuses no doubt. Poor Penny, came back to earth with a bump after her ceremonial roles for Queens funeral and Kings coronation.

The original point of HS2 was to cut the number of internal flights to save on the damage done by jet fuel to the atmosphere! When a plane takes approx. an hour from London to Edinburgh/Glasgow & only an other 15 minutes to Aberdeen! The only solution to replace the planes would have been the MAGALEF MONORAIL as they have in Japan, that are capable of 300+ mph!

Last week and the week before, this show was great. The comments were intelligent and the panel members listened respectfully to each other. This week was sadly boring. Too much gibberish from Alex Salmond, too much laughing and giggling from the usually excellent Esther.

Ninety pounds I paid from Birmingham to Darlington in the North east . More than my flight from Spain to England. The journey took under three hours the train was filthy. Sadly saw my friends farmland dug up for the high speed train. It is disgraceful the price the service is unreliable. Lot is wrong with Spain where I have lived for many years but the train service is excellent and reasonably priced.

Women have a blood test to see where their hormones are at to determine if menopause has started,males should also have to be tested for testosterone level.

But you didn't frame the NHS video with any context! That video was about correct hand washing technique which is vital to protect patients from infection. Additionally it was used during the Pandemic to reduce spread so why is that funny? ( Retired RGN )
