Im going for 2 months with $ 1200 ! Lol, I guess let’s see how it goes, I’m going to be volunteering on a farm where i get room and board, I can grab whatever fruits and veggies are at the place… my 1200 will be for whenever I want to go to the kombucha bar or farmers market…

I just saw a video and it said it would be 7,000 for 2 people. And I was laughing because it didn't say why it would be that much. But anyway I'm going next month for the first time and I was going to stick with a budget of $2000.

Hello! Did you book all of your campsites in advance, or did you just show up?

We booked as many as we could online but we couldn’t book county campgrounds in advance. We had to go into an office once we arrived on Kauai to get a permit to reserve a spot at the county campgrounds.

Well I plan on doing a trip and rough it with camping and live off 20k I would want to stay 6 months to a year but I wanna bring my dog. On your trip did you see other people with dogs camping? Do you know?

I can’t remember if we saw others camping with a dog but don’t see why it would be an issue. Enjoy your trip!

How do you get around the other islands? I assume you cannot bring your rented car with you.

You would fly between islands and rent a car when you land☺️

How did you manage without electricity at campsites?

@@hannahjoybryant we charged everything we needed to in the car while we drove. We typically travel with a small 12v inverter to charger our camera gear
