Orthoses can play a big part in the management of plantar plate injuries, however, it is key to get the right device and also the correct prescription.

Could you please let me know where to get the items mentioned in the video? In particular what you have used to make the cut-out and the carbon fibre insole?

Where do you get the blue cut out planter plate release, I can't find any on the internet.

It is 4mm hard density EVA and we buy it in sheets and grind to size.

Hi Nick, do you modify the carbon orthosis as well? such as stick met dome on top or do you put both orthoses in? and any results yet? is the carbon rocker insole helping? thanks, Pam

Pamela Ritucci hi, I haven’t added a met dome yet, however I have put custom orthoses on top and getting good results. But no reason why you can’t put a met dome in it. The carbon has a rocker in the forefoot, I have been using them for plantar plate injuries, 1st MTPJ OA and Midfoot OA. Any thing else just ask.

Any specific carbon insole makers that you'd recommend?

Hi Scott, we get our carbon linings from a company called Kinetic and HDR composites, however I am not sure if they sell to the public. Most of the time I recommend the Hoka Carbon X trainer or the Saucony Endoprhin Speed as they have them built it, we can help offer a video appointment if that's required and send you some carbon insoles if needed.
