We should have a tournament with 24 teams or 32 even and have different amount of slots per region. We have to be honest here, just by looking at 2021 results we see that some regions do better than others, and it would have been the same here if ukraine was not a thing.

NA 3 EMEA 3 SEA/APAC 2 (but let's be real here sea is the only competent subregion over there, SA Ur trash) KR 1 (DRX are the only competent team and I feel like it's a shame they can't get another slot cause DRX are one of the better teams internationally but so far their other teams are quite doo doo) JP 1 BR/LATAM MAX 2 (BR top seed get guaranteed spot at Lan, have top seed latam go against 2nd seed br and have the winner rep cause NIP and KRU were by far the worst teams this tourney)

@@343JustMe KRU had a good showing in champs last year making it to the semifinals, I don't think one underperformance should justify removing an entire slot from LATAM. That being said I think 1 slot each for BR and LATAM is fine if you wanna limit them to 2.

@@amirulazizol844 I feel like not giving BR an extra slot is unfair and I also think that keeping the same amount of slots for latam rn as BR has is kinda crazy considering the gap in level of play between latam and BR. Kru has had only 1 good showing and that was from the previous season, I feel like that shouldn't rlly play a part too much but idk that's just me

Sliding into any direction is good but her changes has more negatives than positives. Her wall is not punishable, her wall damage for enemies does damage which enables phantom to one shot head shot a player. Her High gear drainage is recognizably way faster than previous which is a massive negative for her.

@@343JustMe nah coaches have a more leadership role for how practices go and what everyone should do. They also mediate players if there is any arguments. Think analyst as the numbers person and the person to notice other teams habits and the coach is the one who decides what to do with said information.

However EMEA Challengers playoffs was also disrupted especially for M3C (Gambit then) who basically had all their games delayed to much later because of the uncertainty regarding the war situation and Riots position on it. They effectively got no downtime from the end of the group stages to the playoffs and you need downtime as a team to work things out and they effectively gotten no break. I still think M3C and FPX were the best two teams from EMEA, even if M3C lost to Fnatic and G2 (off the back off pretty shitty scheduling). I’m a massive Liquid fan and they were my favourite team but the truth is that they likely weren’t even top 4. They lost to the same teams M3C did except M3C directly beat them but faced G2 earlier in the bracket and got screwed by scheduling. So effectively EMEA sent their 5th best team (Liquid), Fnatic with 2 subs and in a pathetic state and G2 (one top 3 team). And it’s not like ANY region had multiple teams present at the later stages of the event. The Guard also got bitch slapped by Paper Rex. EMEA was severely nerfed at this event so to use this event to somehow justify that EMEA should have less slots is laughable. EMEA is the only region that has had both teams in the finals be from that region. They got 3/4 spots at Semis in champions. They are still, on the basis of results, historically the most dominant region in the short history of the game so far and that isn’t even debatable at an objective level.

Forsaken is good, but he needs jinggg to entry with him. They have a whole dynamic that just puts so much pressure on the enemy team when they are on attack. On defense forsaken is their front line.

Moreso then flex he needs to show he can play a style that doesn’t revolve around always trying to get him on an operator. Wardell is a good oper for sure but he doesn’t have the same level of success with it against very structured teams that don’t just dry peek you. In that sense he is a worse cNed where cNed does to structured teams what Wardell does to more unstructured teams which is that they just take risks and break set ups. cNed especially last year did that better then any other oper atleast from EMEA and NA where he was able to play aggressive and get insane timings to break set ups.

@@premojha979 I get what you mean. I think the thing about cNed is, while his team does set him up for success, he's also very capable of being self-sufficient. Even if cNed gets flushed out with util, he finds a way to get one or two with great positioning and game sense. I think past TSM iterations have just put too many resources into him. It'd be nice to see what he can do in V1 for sure.

Exactly what I was thinking. I don't see why Wardell has to learn to flex agents. Sure maybe later down the line but it's clear what Wardell's role is. He's not an Asuna, SicK, or Victor. He's more of a yay, Saya, or Cryo IF there has to be a comparison made.

Wardell's playstyle of OP is so different than yay. Yay takes more aggressive approach while being unpredictable when it comes to holding angles. as far as wardell he's more into passive approach. As for the impact for these two, if you put wardell on Optic and replace him with Yay, the difference would be huge in a negative way. Not only can yay carry if the team is having a bad day, but he can also be as impactful without being the top fragger.

Because yay is one of the best in the world, qualified and attended three LANs and won one. You can say Wardell could do the same if he was given the opportunity but he hasn't. He hasn't won anything or qualified for anything significant since First Strike. Why would any team take a chance on someone like that? Even TenZ who has been playing Jett on a really high level on LANs gets flamed for being a one trick even though he carries his team in all their wins. So yeah if he needs a top team to take a risk making him their star player he needs to work on being more flexible atleast on the other duelist roles.
