This video will show you simple steps on how to wash a Kitten and make it as comfortable as possible with the situation. This is just my method and eat I've learned with my older cat. This is the kittens first bath.

Well, you pretty much have two possible options if you wash an adult cat. Either you get them used to bathing or have already done so as any good owner would when they're a kitten and let them hopefully learn that it's not scary or dangerous. Or you can go the other way and force them to comply and give them a bath as quickly as possible if you really need to. Most cats will just forget about it soon enough even if they're pissed for a little while and hopefully you will not need to wash your cat often. Usually you mainly wash outdoor cats or if they got nasty for some reason, like if they happened to get something all over themselves such as wet food or piss, should be pretty rare. I've bathed grown cats that hate being bathed because it's necessary and you can't wait for them to "Get used to it" if you haven't taught them already. Mainly about closing the door, any escape paths and preferably the door to the shower if possible and just get them in a steel grip and get it done with as fast as possible so they won't have to endure for long. The worst thing that can happen is that they won't want to go into the shower any time soon. That and some scratches if you don't hold it properly, especially if you're the type to not trim their nails so they're not sharpened.

I used to have a baby too. When we found her she was sick, sneezing and shivering constantly. I washed her, I gave her a heated blanked and let her sleep on it in my room. She woke me up in the middle of the night when her ears started trickling my nose. She decided to sleep right next to my face instead of on the blanked. I gave her the medicine every 4 hours for weeks. Yes indeed I didn't sleep for more than 4 hours straight during all those days and weeks. She grew up strong, playful and a little more scratchy and bity than I'd like her to. She was my little black panther, and my baby.
