Wow. I committed to SPS last summer at a time when I could easily have walked away from golf. With many challenges last year I decided to take on golf and reinvent my swing. At that point it was about "fixing" my swing which used to be decent-and no longer was. I committed to Graves Golf and watched video after video. I mostly skipped the Moe stories in pursuit of "the swing." The breakthrough for me as well as my swing came when I let Moe into my consciousness or better said, "into my heart." I watched and listened to the videos and stories about Moe Norman. That is when I felt the essence of learning from an utterly different perspective. I have watched hundreds of videos by Todd, Tim and Chandler along with many devoted instructors in the Graves Academy. Yet THIS video is easily the best. Why? Because it points out the obvious lesson which few golf instructors are capable of delivering. It is a life lesson rather than a golf lesson. Moe clearly gave Todd all that he could while leaving much for Todd to figure out for himself. Here Todd offers us what Moe felt...not about the swing, but about life. What a gift! Thank-you, Todd.

Best golf video Iv seen. Thanks for sharing Moe’s genius. At 49 I can’t get out to play anymore. Many health issues. But not having it does take so much more away than just golfing. I often played alone and I do believe I was playing from my heart. I would give a kidney to play again. Thanks for the thoughtful video

The more I see Moe and the more I see Toad the more you gotta love 'em.. Always was taught to live in the now - past is gone future doesn't exist yet. Live in the NOW. For me nothing brings me into that focus more than a round on the course. Gotta love it, gotta love it. Thanks for all you do to keep Moe alive and ever present!

It's hard to explain to people about a man who cared how his words influenced other's emotionally, its extremely rare today to see a genuine person. There is more than one moment in time! If I get out in the golf course with golf mates is a great moment in time! Here is Scotland most courses are closed due to the snow, So many are missing their time of not being able too play! I do not play in competition, anymore as like you, I can't stay in my moment , Moe's phases in your video Todd were/are so true, we have one life, so enjoy the fresh air and your surroundings for the day will come when one won't be able too! My greatest regret was when I was a member at Foxwood I sat next to Moe and did not make an effort to communicate with him. There were too many rumours circulating about his quirky personality and even though I have a outgoing person, I was intimidated by the rumours. At 78 years old I change my mindset and took up the challenge to use the single plane method.I now play a better brand of golf than I ever have.

Moe was not only the best ball striker ever but also a phylosopher and an excellent poet. I met Moe through Todd's information last year and now enjoy golf with Moe style SPS here in Japan. Exactly....as Todd shares here, I heard & felt all the wisdom Moe gave and shared in every clinic or video I've seen him in on KZfaq, an I think I've seen every single one on here....Moe spoke and lived from the heart in every word I've heard him speaking! That man was a genius! His poem about the Robot speaks a lot of wisdom, more than many can even begin to comprehend or fathom! As Todd was speaking here on ego, sadly, that's where the majority of folks seem to live from and stay! I pray daily for us all to start living and giving from the heart in all we do and say. After all is said and done here on this earth and these bodies are worn out, the only thing that really matters is, did you give, live and truly love, from the heart? Were we authentic to ourselves first and foremost? Were we authentic, from the heart, kind, loving, etc....with all others we were involved with in any ways, shapes or forms? I came across a great book on the great game of golf called, "In His Grip" subtitled "Foundations for life and golf" by Jim Sheard and Wally Armstrong. Introduced by Dr. Billy Graham, forward by Tom Lehman......great book from cover to cover that also covers exactly what Moe had come to know and love so much about golf, just as Todd speaks of and knows, without a doubt! Page 96 of that book is titled "Golf - A Metaphor for Life" where Larry Moody, Chaplain to the PGA Tour players at the 1996 World Links Conference at Callaway Gardens Georgia, shares how there are 2 ways the word "golf" can be looked at metaphorically and spiritually in relationship to this thing we call, "life" and whether one will know and accept Jesus Christ as their Savior or not! G - Going O - Out L - Lost F - Forever or G - God O - Offers L - Love and F - Forgiveness ..........................Swing Thought: GOLF will either spell DISASTER or GLORY. The eternal choice is yours. Thanks for all you all do there at GGA and special thanks for sharing this message and footage with us Todd imho, it's definitely thee key to this entire thing, we human Beings, call "Life"! Becoming and Being, All you/we all came here to BeCome/Be! As the back cover of above mentioned book also has on it by Kenneth Blanchard, author of "The One Minute Manager and Playing the Game of Golf" said in his review after reading "In His Grip", "GOLF stands for the "Game Of Life First" A must read for anyone who wants to improve their life and golf through enhancing their belief in the Lord." Golf's definitely been a spiritual game here and like you say here in the video, I too am working on it daily brother, it's all we can do and exactly what we're all supposed to be here learning to be! One man coming from the heart can do far more than 100 from ego, ever can! Moe would be proud of all you've done and continue doing brother!

Mark Twain said ”golf is a good walk wasted.” Moe”s recital of the poem will only have meaning to those of us who play golf, and regardless of playing bad or good, we are enriched by the experience and we front up to play, time and time again!

Correct. And the vital move "vertical drop" has not been described as what it really was. "Butting" Moe wanted to 'Butt the ball with the end of his club on starting downswing. BOOM.
