Uzair Arif what i was meaning was I didn’t rate Hendo at all, but over the last 2 seasons he’s shown me what he brings to the team. Plus klopp moving his position has been a brilliant move

Signing Fabinho finally allowed Hendo to be played in his preferred position after about 4yrs of filling in at defensive mid. Defensive mid is of course a terrible position for a player that turns about as well as a battleship, however, keep him pointed at the opposition goal and he's got some incredible passes to play.

Well honestly that's all Chelsea's fault... he was a success at literally every club except Chelsea. They barely played him and when they did he was far too deep to use his best qualities which are his attacking positioning and movement.

I actually didnt. As a Chelsea fan I saw signs of raw talent before he left for Roma and I thought him and especially Kevin De Bruyne with what he did at Wolfsburg would come back but it apparently wasn't meant to be. Plus at the time Willian and even Cuadrado were rated higher. For KDB he was behind Mata and Oscar.

He isn't exactly wrong. He was playing very well when Kompany wasn't injury prone and in his prime. Same with Clichy, Zabaeta and Lescott who were the original back 4 of those those first 2 titles under Mancini and Pellegrini.

I was wrong about Henderson too, and I'm a Liverpool supporter. I still think he's absolutely woeful as a 6 which is why I'm so happy we have Fabinho now but in his new role where he's been bombing down the right, helping Trent out and putting in some bloody good crosses, he's been a beast.

I think De Gea wasn’t good enough at the time though. Crediting his success as another Fergie great piece of scouting would be misleading imo, it’s only due to De Gea’s own hard work that he’s got so good. Similar with players like Ronaldo, Sterling, Zaha, etc who proved wrong the haters and outdid their potential. I view De Gea and that category rather than viewing his signing as a mistake vs success on Fergie’s behalf.

i was wrong about fabian balbuena. here at corinthians, he was amazing. so when he moved to west ham, i thought he would be unleashed, being a titan in defense, even scoring some goals (like when he played at corinthians) and that he would be alongside van dijk on the liverpool backline in a couple of years

When it comes to Forster... He was fine up until he got a really nasty injury against Burnley, then he never came back.

Ritchie is excellent for Newcastle. Get's loads of assists and is nearly always involved in a Newcastle goal. Doesn't score many goals because 1. Rafa had to play very defensive with the team he had for two seasons and would only show flair on the counter attack. 2. Because he is not a winger anymore he's a left wing back.

Dzeko... Really thought he would struggle to get 6 league goals a season. My mate won't let me forget I suggested he remove Dzeko from his fantasy team, only for him to bag goal after goal.
